Fantastic away win and the first time we've beaten Bolton since 1989 . Happy as the proverbial pig in muck.UTG

Not sure that's what I'm making out at all? Quite clearly stated "the motion of the forum"...not any specific poster within. Fair enough if you weren’t. I just dislike comments calling fans fickle and fake for getting excited about a massive away win at Bolton. What defines faithful and true? Is it optimistic fans, pessimistic or the ones in the middle? Faithful and True is clearly open for debate since hundreds/thousands sing it before booing the side off when they sint happy. I'd say it's about sticking with the club, manager and players through good times and bad, unconditionally. Obviously a fans forum which enables anonymous opinions from floaters to fanatics, will stretch my attempted definition! 🙂

On reflection. I think it’s right that so many of us are so happy tonight. What a result and performance.
This manager means business and puts the team right at the heart of his thoughts. Just great to see and hear him after the match. I wish him so much success. To win at second place Bolton. Brill.
My belief in success is stronger than ever. All the other times have clearly just been warm ups to this moment.
Just WOW. Are we going up? This dressing room will think it’s possible. Me too!

What a difference a week makes, fair play to the lads for getting a result after the training ground scrap, cancelling the Christmas doo, the owners being skint and everything else eh!

Bolton lieing second in the table, I thought before the match this is possibly our toughest away game this season and we go and win it ,amazing, also had over twice as many shots on goal as Bolton. Hopefully this will silence the Taylor doubters. Development of the stadium and a quality manager , for the first time in years we are going somewhere.

I find it hard to believe there are any Taylor doubters now, even You Know Who Tis2. In his short time here he's shown a growing understanding of how to get a tune out of this frustrating squad, is an intelligent and nice guy and carries no unfortunate baggage.

I disagree. Where were we when Taylor took over? Don’t we have a top 8 budget? Top 6 would be, but finishing 10th would not be a massive achievement IMO I suppose it depends on what you think of the squad. It's just taken apart a promotion chasing L2 side at home and beaten a top 2 L1 side also at home, the squad is clearly good enough if motivated to perform. Something it clearly lacked for whatever reason under the previous manager. What's that now 1 league defeat in over half a dozen league games?

They’ve stopped poncing around with the ball along the back line and get the ball forward quicker. Like a lot of us wanted . Bit more width playing 3-5-2 . It’s wasn’t rocket science. Amazed Barton couldn’t see it himself.

So glad MT has proved what he can do , yes there will be bumps in the road , we wouldn't be Rovers would we? But after today and Tuesday there is real cause for optimism , in the same way I felt
under Cogs in late '19 . Different football obviously , but a sense of a galvanised team. January is now looking interesting rather than a panic.
Keep this short as I'm about to drop off , but today and the news from Bournemouth realy bought home how our game is secondary. Good luck Tom ,and hope you make a full recovery! UTG

Excellent post. Bound to be ups and downs, as you say. But in a short time he's totally turned this team around - the change from Crawley to Bolton is insane

Excellent win.
Very well spoken manager after the game. Seems tactically aware which is welcome to hear.
I also enjoy the interview set up with multiple people asking questions. Some shade thrown at commentary earlier but I thought she asked good questions.

Over the years I’ve seen some great away victory’s, mostly unexpected. Today was right up there with the best. Well done the team and credit to the management. I did mention cartwheels in a previous post if we were to win two out of the next three, as it stands it’s two from two. I’ve done my cartwheel. UTG.
