Just back in from the pub
1. Great to have a manger that can tactically get things right and get players playing. We’ll see who he can and can’t attract into the club but already he is what this squad has been crying out for tactically
2. I love Connor Taylor. Even as a loan player , he just got us. Hope he takes us to the champ and beyond.
3. Marquis is a top league 1 striker. Apologise all you doubters fro the last few weeks
4. Even with a great day like today some gasheads can’t help but be negative towards individuals. Not sure what Hoole or even Cox does to deserve it. Chill out lads.

A great result and confidence booster moving forward. After previous disappointments this shows we can go toe to toe with the better sides in the division and come away with the win. It should give the players and manager (and us fans!) a lot of belief going into a difficult looking run of fixtures. Well done Rovers, now keep it going...UTG!!! 👏

I suppose it depends on what you think of the squad. It's just taken apart a promotion chasing L2 side at home and beaten a top 2 L1 side also at home, the squad is clearly good enough if motivated to perform. Something it clearly lacked for whatever reason under the previous manager. What's that now 1 league defeat in over half a dozen league games? Yeah 8 games. |

They’ve stopped poncing around with the ball along the back line and get the ball forward quicker. Like a lot of us wanted . Bit more width playing 3-5-2 . It’s wasn’t rocket science. Amazed Barton couldn’t see it himself. It's that, and a bit more than that. Evans pushed more forward in a creative role. Trusting LT to play rwb. NOT playing Aaza on left wing duties (he covered some ground). Reverting from a 3 to a 4 instead of vice versa. Allowing players to express themselves instead of having to be transfixed with the sideways and back possessed possession. And, more spectacularly, Crama plays amazing like he belongs...? One swallow and all that, but it's encouraging... |

It looks like Matt has managed to get a performance out of this side, we are at the right end of the table and it’s good to be a gashead again. UTG

Needless to say buzzing with that one, loved that a load of the home fans left after the sending off, even more when Evans got the second.
Bolton looked a lot like us at the start of the season, lots of possession but no cutting edge.
Pragmatism with playing on the counter, very impressed with the performance. Especially Marquis who lead the line excellently
