If we can get JCH for a decent price I don't think you say no, but with the formation we're playing someone else at LWB(don't have a decent backup rotation for vale imo), a keeper and a CB are the priority for me.

How much longer is Collins going to get away with this ? Would Loan him out to L2 in January .. And play who in his place? Brown?? It's a no from me. No not Brown … lazy disinterested player. Would need a replacement from outside .. easier said than done I know. |

Why does every keeper in this league make saves. Cox has half a dozen errors in him a game and can't stop a shot for toffee. Get rid in January and let some other mugs be his apprenticeship. First signing needs to be a experienced keeper

Is there a hot air balloon in the commentary box? Blackpool commentary so much better instead the helium one. Praised us more then our so called local station. |

Need at least one more CB. Crama ok for back up. Taylor and Wilson plus a.n.other as our first choices when playing a 3. Bring back Connolly and send out Grant somewhere somehow.
I thought Cox was alright but after that we need another option. Wouldn't be against giving Jed a try but obviously can't bank on him for a full half a season.
LB for competition with Friend and Gordon.
Need someone up front as well.

Brown's a No 10 anyway, Collins is being used mainly as a winger, Sinclair seems the obvious replacement but he's nowhere to be seen, hopefully he hasn't asked for Christmas off as he's got to look after his 3 kids! It'll be interesting to see how MT is backed in January, as he needs an assistant manager, DoF or HoR and a Chief Scout, plus a goalie, LB & CB plus a possible replacement for Woods and also another striker, all those signings are not going to come cheap. |

Some good spells but ultimately we handed the game to them by not putting our foot through the ball when we should have and trying to play out twice for their first 2 goals.
Their third was us pushing forwards fair enough.
Also this goalkeeper has simply just not been good enough he rarely makes saves and constantly gives the ball away trying to be clever with his feet ,and we conceded today from that.
Belshaw might not be good enough for league 1 ( I think he is ) but he’s better than Cox.
Missed Wilson obviously and need to get Connelly back if we can plus another CB.
Collins wastfull and frustrating again doesn’t seem to link up with Marquis , don’t want to sound like I’m spreading rumours but there seems to be animosity between those two.

Good game - thought Blackpool had more energy and definitely pushed more of a threat with the excellent Dembele and the constant spectre of Rhodes.
We aren’t going up and I think the sooner some on here come to terms with that the better and we can build for next season.
Cox / Crama /Woods offer next to nothing and are mediocre at best at L1 level. Would send all three back to their parent clubs.
Collins / / Brown are stealing wages each week - I would try to offload Collins to L2 - Wrexham would be perfect for him.
Losing today is no disgrace - good side who will push top six potentially and had we had eleven players really busting for the win it may well have been closer. Wonder how many were caught up in the illness bug this week.

Lots of players not strong or quick enough compared to blackpool, and the players up top cannot be relied on to get goals agree with you mate 👍 Blackpool looked like they had another gear or two in them and we just looked a few yards behind them for most of the game but especially second half. Barton signed some names but most are too injury prone and the ones who stay fit are just to hit and miss between games. Out of the starting 11 today probably only 5 of them has what it takes to take us from a mid table league one side to a top 6 one unfortunately MT won't be able to change much in the January transfer window. But for all the people saying we can do better than JCH or should invest in other areas I say this... we need his goals and we don't have a proper goal scorer in his type at the club and we desperately need him. I hope the reports that we are not interested in him is just poor paper talk from the B post but if not the the owners need to wake up and sign the lad and quickly this time. |

Chris Martin to start v Pompey? Why drop 3 in 3 Marquis against his former club? We lost due to defensive mistakes, a dodge offside decision and Collins failing to take a similar chance to LT's not JM. |

Calamity cox at it again, too slow off his line for the first goal and cannot kick with his weak foot.
Game was there for taking at points because I think they were worse than us at the back.

Round pegs in square holes, new right back, left back, centre back, centre forward. Rhodes and dembele the difference, absolute quality, better than anything ive seen this season, both above league 1 standard. Rest of the Blackpool team nothing special, we had as much of the game as them, missed chances again.

Seems to me the play offs will be a bonus this season , achievable if we get lucky , realy lucky in Jan.
Remember none of these players are MT's , of course Brown played under him but is proving surplus.
But here we go again with Rovers , always in transition and looking to the next window....UTG in MT I trust.
