I wonder if somebody on here has the answer to this? What are they going to do about the dark shadow across the penalty box going forward? Are there plans to put lights in the stand? Or modify the flood lights? In late November,I asked Tom Gorringe about the lighting conditions he said. Changes will be made over the coming weeks to address the situation. We are clearly still within that period of time. I am amazed that the referees haven't had anything to say about it.

Another Vlog from a young Pompey fan. Well put together video. This little guy is pretty good, I enjoyed watching it. He is less biased than the first one and didn't edit the footage to show Portsmouth as the best side. Watch this one, we could have been 3-0 up at half time!.

Just been watching the free kick again. IMO Evans was always going for the top right and I was thinking at the time Portsmouth hadn't done their homework. However, our two men in the wall put doubt in their minds and the goalie was slightly to the right of centre. Wall split and goalie waited for a shot down the middle and it never happened. A really well thought out routine.

A really well thought out routine. I called it that side from Evans, fully expecting him to whip it around the wall/in the gap, didn’t ever think he’d get it up and over from inside the D! Incredible technique, not many better in this league from free kicks or pens

Think It went unnoticed in the scenes at the by just about everyone, but Colby Bishop made a point of going to Connor Taylor & acknowledging what a good job he did marking him. You could see from the body language & gestures it was positive, not negative. Gave him a pat on the back as well. Thought it was really decent thing to do to a young defender by a red hot striker in the mix for the League 1 golden boot.

Still enjoying the entire bench including the gaffer getting half way down the touch line in front of us on the East in celebration. Reminiscent of Browner 90+2 in 2016. Crama especially was going ballistic! Definitely one of those footie moments you wish you could bottle.

Can't remember the opponent but during the JCH days there was a game where he was having a right tussle with his marker. Credit to the ref as he just let them get on with it, anything 50/50 or even 60/40 was let go. Both players really acknowledging each other at full time.

I don't think this but does anyone else think we were dead on our feet come the end of the game yesterday, just had a look on the Portsmouth forum and they seem to think we were?

Not dead on our feet but I do think our fitness leaves a lot to be desired and based on Taylor's post game interview on YouTube, he clearly feels similar.

There's a clip in the close Quarters which best examples it where there's constantly 2-3 players pressing the player on the ball. Over 90 minutes that is going to be a lot of ground that it forces you to cover.

Two comments on MT.
Big Jon worked his socks off and has to do it all over again on Friday. No doubt the substitution had a lot to do with easing his workload.
After the great tactical switch to bring on Hunt, there was a moment when Cox caught a simple ball and went to ground to eat up time. LT and MT were both shouting and waving their arms frantically for him to get the ball forward. Good to see him not wanting to settle for a point.
Ps good job I re read my comment. Initially i mistyped and it said Big Job (always think of Billy Connolly and his stories of someone leaving a floating big jobbie!).

Going to a back four probably won us the game. We were certainly under pressure and looked like they were going to win it, but changing our shape allowed us to get further up the pitch as we were tired and just didn't have the legs to get up the pitch like we were. Well done to MT for reacting quickly and changing it. Looks like we are comfortable in a couple of different formations now? Our winning goal was almost a carbon copy of goal away at pompey first game.

I don't think this but does anyone else think we were dead on our feet come the end of the game yesterday, just had a look on the Portsmouth forum and they seem to think we were? Not for me. Starting Centre mid Ward bursting half length of the pitch in the 94th min, laying on the pass for our starting left wing back come left back Vale, who squares it to our starting right wing back come right sided forward Thomas, to apply the finishing touch. Chuck Collins & Finley into the build up, 5 starting players involved busting a gut to make that winner happen. If that’s dead on our feet knackered, love to see us super fit going all the way to the end😂😂😂
