Switch to 442 nearly cost us. We really need a left back as Vale is decent as a wing back but is no full back.

Collins is frustrating as hell but is setting up a hell of a lot of goals. Both of them tonight and a few of the other wins goals too. Think someone mentioned he’s top of the assists table?

We give away at least one sloppy goal every game. I’m not sure why there was a need to change formation after going a goal up? We are stacked on the right hand side but have nobody on the left I’ll have to watch it again in a bit but pretty sure their goal stemmed from crama playing that short pass in to the centre mid who’s always marked and it puts us under so much pressure. We generally do it less now Barton’s gone but that is the hospital pass of all hospital passes I don’t know why Crama likes it so much. |

We wouldn't be so on top with Martin up top. Marquis runs creates space for others, which helps us get on top. Plus we can press higher as a team. 😂😂😂 I didn't say he shouldn't come on, I said we wouldn't have been as on top as much during the first half, with him up there. It's one of those catch 22s. You want a player like him on, to score goals. But when he's on, you can't press as high, so the midfielders won't have as much space. A great player to have on the bench to bring on, when you need a goal or two! Great 3 points again, Martin certainly knows how to finish. |

May played out wide, that normal for them? Fans not happy with their manager. He was never really in the game, they have some really dangerous players in attacking positions but none of them worked hard tonight and after their initial decent first 5 minutes where they looked super dangerous they faded. Somethings not right at that club for sure. |

You can see he has immense quality and is as strong as an ox . Quality finisher as well when he gets a chance. |

Different options and different strengths but they each bring something to the game. I think Martin's a great option to have. He's a goal scorer, which every club wants in the squad. If he could sign a striker that runs like Marquis, but is like Martin in the box we will be sorted 😂 |

I thought it was Luke Thomas that touched it in? If it was Collins summed up his night mind he wasn't great and for me is the weak link. Not sure he’s the weak link tbh. Works hard, often involved in goals despite not scoring himself and opposition regularly double up on him to leave space free for others. Would pick him over Brown, who is probably his replacement, every day of the week. Agreed , Collins hasn’t been at his best these last 12 months but still scares the opposition with his direct running and although he’s not scoring he’s setting goals up and creating chances and panic in the final third. |

He was benched for the Cheltenham game and since then has produced 4 or 5 decent performances. |

Nice few days, eh gasheads?! Didn’t celebrate the winner today quite as hard as Pompey as I was expecting a flag!
Should have had it tied up ages before the winner etc but that was a quality performance. Charlton will rightly be mangerless in the morning.

Grant Ward was PHENOMENAL No exaggeration. The Finley ward axis in the middle with Evans just in front is probably the best midfield trio I've seen at the gas. It's phenomenal the way they are playing at the minute. |

Yeah I spent about 10 seconds just staring at the linesman before I let myself believe it was a goal. I’ve just watched the winner back 5 times and it was very very close, I think the player that slid in to block Collins cross might have just played Martin onside. |

He is frighteningly good when involved in the game and thankfully after those first 10 minutes where he was ripping us apart we sorted him out and did a great job keeping him out the game. |
