Matt Taylor’s summing up today, can’t argue with anything he say’s. Who the hell was that stood next to him 🤣

yes, watched the previous 2 and he was weak in those too. If you say so, guy was fantastic alongside Ward and Evans. Finley looks a completely new player under Taylor. As other have said, today showed our lack of depth today, and wouldn’t surprise me if we do a mini clear out on to make room for improvements in the summer.

Totally agree with you, as regards an agenda, I would suggest that the Belshaw lobby is at play there. Thought he was our mom by some margin today, let down by his defence time and time again. [br Really? I thought Belshaw was a walking calamity as well. I'd take the Wycombe keeper over both him and Cox any day of the week. Don’t be silly, I’m not suggesting Belshaw is the answer. That ship has long sailed.

Pretty sure the person next to Matt Taylor is Keith Brookman

Wilson confirmed out for months yet some said he didn't come off Injured Friday when it was clear he did. Awful news. I always said he was a sick note and people have tried calling me out, again this just proves my point, four seasons out of fifteen he’s played fourth games. Get Beefy back. Do you seriously think Connolly will be an improvement on today's back 3? We need an experienced CB to replace Wilson, as I doubt he'll play many more games this season, although getting one this month who's not also injury prone will be a big challenge for MT.

Spot on Topper, Beefy is identical to Grant who was exposed at times in the 3. Both, no real pace, no real strength, neither aerial like Wilson, neither can break the lines either. Bring him back as cover, Vokes would have destroyed him today

I think Connolly is stronger and quicker than Grant at least, possibly others. Last season against Derby away him coming on steadied us second half (his first minutes since stress fractures in his back). I felt he suffered from being left exposed by mistakes of others last season and lost confidence. He and Connor Taylor had great understanding in League 2 and may be able to replicate that in League 1 as both have 2 years further development under their belts. UTG!

I dislike Wycombe just behind the S**t and Oxford, they are proper shitters. Kings of dirty football, time wasting, continual long throw ins, over aggressive, awful fans, the ref handed out 3 yellows to them for time wasting.
It all started back when they called that game off because of lightening, Ainsworth took them to a new level of vileness, Bloomfield has carried it on.
One day we are going there and beat them by 3/4/5 to kill this jinx they have over us!

Forgot to say as well, Leahy is a badge kissing prick as well, does it everywhere he goes, was at it again today.
We needed David Pipe, Vaughan Jones and Ian Alexander on the pitch today, Taylor was right, we were bullied off the pitch

Think we would have been better switching to a back four today .... Hoole could have dropped in at RB comfortably.... 4-1-3-2 would still have made us competitive today. I am worried that MT will not be backed in January as the owners son will clearly see we are not going up this season and will decline funds whilst potentially getting the squad trimmed. It was allegedly the owner’s son who pulled the plug on the JCH deal, so perhaps he needs to stop playing FIFA with our club . . .

Perhaps the thought such a deal might bankrupt the club made it a wise decision? Let's face it most of us could never understand how we were going to fund such a deal when we're already losing £3m/4m a season.

Do you not think it peculiar that only Charlton seem really keen on him and they are a proper basket case club

I still can't understand how Vokes didn't get a second yellow once the ref blew for a late challenge, you sense his departure would have weakened them more than losing a Scowen. The fact they had so few fans today suggests even they can't stand the way they play.

Yes, he’s way better than Grant. But at this moment in time I’d play Hoole ahead of them both.

Ref bottled Vokes, disgraceful decision.
Re JCH, if we signed him, he’d have got on the end today of so many crosses onto the box but we’d have three no 9’s with no pace at all.
We need an outlet to run the channels, take two men with him, stretch our play and give the defence a rest.
Our next 9 has to be mobile.
