Didn't see that much of the Sky debate, YouGov poll gives Starmer the 'win' 64/36%.
Only caught some of the Sunak interview, he seems to have lost the will to campaign. Almost feeling sorry for him.

Sounds like he got a bit of a battering tbh. After his mistakes and lack of improvement in the polls, looks like Rishi is trying to go with the “I’m an honest, wounded dog.. vote for me please, out of pity” look. Their best chance is that people think it’s a done deal and Labour voters don’t turn up. Don’t fall for it, only the other day he was telling us how he also struggled as a kid because he didn’t have sky tv..

Just watched it ( was out for a curry ) , definite win for Starmer tonight although it was always going to be harder for the incumbent PM trying to defend the impossible 😂🙄

As we live in Wales which is a shoe in for labour, will not vote, find it all very depressing tbh.

It'll be a wake up call. Never happen.

We do and would suggest this for those minded to do so. However these often get spoilt for technical reasons and I doubt many do this for that reason.

Dont we track spoilt ballots? Or is that just a myth? We do . But a spoiled ballot is different to 'none of the above'...

But a spoiled ballot is different to 'none of the above'... Doesn't Australia have compulsory voting with a none of the above option? How does that translate in reality?

But a spoiled ballot is different to 'none of the above'... Doesn't Australia have compulsory voting with a none of the above option? How does that translate in reality? Compulsory voting is not really true, if you're not enrolled you don't have to vote - and this applies to a large chunk of the electorate at most elections (local, state and federal). But there is not a 'none of the above' option that I know about, so if you are enrolled you have to collect/post your ballot paper, but you don't have to mark it to indicate a vote for a candidate when you cast it. There are one or two groups who want 'none of the above' added as an option, but when you think it through it is probably more of a problem than a solution. None of the above could 'win' a seat but then what happens next...?

But a spoiled ballot is different to 'none of the above'... Semantics No, none of the above is a specific option you can vote for in some elections. A spoiled ballot can be anything from a dubious mark to offensive graffiti and whilst the intent might be similar the actual result is completely different...

Just listened to the Labour manifesto launch. Personally thought it was a bit underwhelming and expected something to be pulled from the hat if not a rabbit at least a mouse 🐁 ! Otherwise it was steady as you go and a return to the adults taking control again after 14 yrs of utter loons . Ps bollox to his Brexit stance as its cretinous 🙄🇬🇧

Semantics One (where it is an option) is a positive choice, one is a negative reaction. Completely different...
