Thanks for consistently telling me how I should think , it’s really much appreciated 🙄 🥱 Adding context for those who don't understand why things are the way they are... No , you’re adding your opinion that you think everyone else should agree with due to your immense knowledge & intelligence we should all bow down to . 🙄😂

I watched it,two very poor candidates,Sunak looks finished and loved the question to Starmer about him being a political robot which he couldn't answer ,just like a political robot. As we live in Wales which is a shoe in for labour, will not vote, find it all very depressing tbh. You’ve no right to complain if you don’t even use your vote . Of course I can,I've voted for over 50years,my vote is irrelevant, the candidates are totally uninspiring as are the manifestoes so far produced. As Labour have locked themselves into the Tory budgets etc ,it will be Tory light, all the bullshit about how they will raise funds is just that ,heard it and seen it all before. Unless, they can inject economic growth nothing will change

I think there'll be a few underwhelmed people at the manifesto, purely because people want/like the be excited.
However, for the majority, excited these days usually equates to; how much does that cost? How will you pay for it?
Its a clever, calculated move from Starmer. Don't rock the boat, ensure you look a sensible/stable government ready to take over. And he's done exactly that.

It'll be a wake up call. Never happen. Absolutely, would love that,my friend in Scotland is writing that on his ballot paper, might just do the same,am I allowed to complain then😜😜

Just listened to the Labour manifesto launch. Personally thought it was a bit underwhelming and expected something to be pulled from the hat if not a rabbit at least a mouse 🐁 ! Otherwise it was steady as you go and a return to the adults taking control again after 14 yrs of utter loons . Ps bollox to his Brexit stance as its cretinous 🙄🇬🇧 Told you. 😇 Never was going to risk rocking the boat.

Depends on Rachel Reeves' first budget and how long the Conservatives take to reorganise. There will be a collective sigh of relief but it won't last past Christmas without some big decisions being made, if it even lasts that long. Blair lasted probably until the fuel strikes in 2000, can't see Starmer getting 2 years grace.

Renegotiate is fine. When the EU eventually says no, what then? Will the Security Pact be a big enough carrot? We are big players here in European terms, maybe. In all probability it's the four freedoms or status quo. 2029 manifesto to hold a referendum in early 2030s? Could it be sooner?

LibDem become official opposition and hold Labours feet to the fire on Brexit . With the Labour membership & voters strongly anti Brexit they wouldn’t be able to carry on denying the will of the people! It’s possible but unlikely but we live in hope 😁

Nothing to see here, honest mistake and pure coincidence. "Conservative candidate Craig Williams has apologised and said he made a "huge error of judgement" over betting on the date of the next general election. Mr Williams, who was an aide to the prime minister in the last Parliament, is alleged to have placed a £100 bet on a July election three days before Rishi Sunak announced the 4 July poll. Mr Sunak's decision to call the poll was a surprise to many, including many Conservative MPs, who were expecting an autumn date. Speaking to the BBC, Mr Williams said: “I clearly made a huge error of judgement that’s for sure and I apologise." Labour called the allegations "utterly extraordinary". Mr Williams refused to answer questions about whether he had any inside information when he placed the bet. He said: “I will not be expanding on my statement because it’s an independent process. “The gambling commission are looking at it now.” The former MP, who is standing for the Conservatives in Montgomeryshire & Glyndwr..." www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cneevz8278eo
