My granny could have scored that I’m sure your granny is a very good footballer goa.👍 Its just a shame that JB couldn't do it 20 minutes later. Obviously not as good as your gran! UTG! My gran was Diego Maradona BTW

From a standing position, absolute peach of a goal! Most players that goes into row z leaning back or at worst out for a throw! The bend on it😍😍😍 I thought for a second it had taken a deflection off the defender's head, it swung so much. Shane Warne would have been pleased with that. Shane warne wasn’t a swing bowler old chap! I like the analogy but a more fitting one would have been Waqar Younis, James Anderson or Wasim Akram. Well, everyone else is arguing. I just wanted to keep the (horrible) vibe going :-(

Enjoyable experience at Carrow Road yesterday, not every player was on top form but they all put a shift in which is so much easier to get behind and consistently sing as one voice. With Vale and Thomas we genuinely offer options on either flank to attack and both players link well with their inside midfielder and wide CB to both defend and work the ball away from danger with tight crisp passing rather than the long slow build up we witnessed earlier in the season. The goal was the icing on the cake of a stellar performance by Grant Ward who showed the form that made him a championship midfielder before his horrendous luck with injuries. Was pleasing that Canaries fans were only able to sing “ one-nil on your big day out” for less than six minutes. Norwich is actually a decent day out with the quality pubs etc but they probably don’t realise we’ve been told our big day out has been in such wonderful locations as Derby, Bolton and Portsmouth!

I doubt we would have ever found out Vale & Thomas were decent wing backs without being forced into playing them both at WB due to injuries.
Vale in particular must get an assist in virtually every game, even if they are not officially counted as "assists".
I wonder if Vale will be tempted to join us permanently if Chelsea are prepared to sell him for a reasonable fee?

Little round of applause for the much maligned Josh Grant. There was at least one predictable “get rid” in the first 15 mins of this MDT but gets another 8/10 from a non biased reporter and was part of a defence that held firm against quality oppo. Won’t hear it on hear cos people love to have their villains at the gas. Loved his laid back not getting carried away interview too. Just listened to his post match interview. I'm going to try and cut him some slack. Seems like a pleasant young chap who spoke confidently without any edge, whilst acknowledging his place in the squad. He is obviously not the finished article and has room for improvement to match the levels of others on the starting 11. All that said, he isn't making me any more nervous than Crama atm..

The game was on live here in Australia. So I took the opportunity to have a good nights sleep and watch the whole game this morning. Just finished watching. As soon as they scored I thought that was it, but a great display. I thought we played well, and deserved the replay. Norwich home. I remember being taken to a League Cup game, early 70's when we beat them. We can do it again. I was thinking about that game myself, 1970 drew 1-1 away and then beat them 3-1 in extra time if I remember it right. One of those great nights at Eastville. Same again please!

I doubt anything will change for him til summer, then Chelsea will probs be up for selling him unless they do want him.

I thought Evans was the best player on the pitch for the first-half. Totally agree, he was sensational, made so much time on the ball. The starting midfield 3 were absolute quality. Finley's range of passing was a joy to watch, and Ward was at his best; all three yesterday showed they could play in the next level up; If Antony can continue playing at that level for the rest of the season I would not be surprised if the Championship clubs come in for him in the summer.

Hopefully they don’t sack Wagner before the replay, sounds like he’s on borrowed time there at the moment.

Also, it looks like we’ll have FOUR home games on the bounce this month!

I've said before on another thread I think Evans Finley ward quality wise is the best midfield I've ever seen at the gas and I've been going since 1988. Such a shame it seems ward is going to be out again now
