Mental wages, really. Unless Chelsea plan to keep him, I can’t see him getting more than 4/5k tbh. It's a short career.. Nothing to stop any footballer from getting a real job after hanging up the boots.

Nothing to stop any footballer from getting a real job after hanging up the boots. I assume most do? Vale may lack a bit of motivation though if he goes from earning £25K a week to £25K p.a.!

Can anybody understand how the ref didn't give a foul for the Norwich goal, Crama clearly played the ball before being flattened by his opponent.

Ive had harder contact shopping in Tesco's on a Saturday. Nobody seemed to complain which says it all

There are lots of incidents throughout a game where fouls are given or not. Most of the time if roles were reversed the other side would not complain or question. It's just football and it's dynamic nature. There will be a time where our grandchildrens children will watch robot football and these variations will disappear.

Crama has to be stronger in those situations across the pitch and especially in our own area....he simply has to stay on his feet and challenge.
He was initially in control of the ball. Bang it into row z if any doubt.

Crama and Cox both looked to the linesman for a foul, what else do you expect them to do? If the foul was at the other end then I'd put money on the ref blowing for a foul for Norwich.

There was no appeal. Crama got his footwork and stride pattern wrong and then was off balance at moment of contact. No foul, has to do better.

There have been too many occasions this season where we have been very weak in challenges and come out second best and this was one of them. Connor Taylor whilst being excellent overall was the same at Wycombe. Our biggest problem is that all our current defenders have an error in them which is not surprising as three of our strongest defenders are missing due to injury.

I don’t know whether you are simply fishing for an argument or not but never in a million years was Crama fouled - not even close. He made a right mess of the situation all by himself. Nobody else to blame.

Very similar to the goal we gave away v Charlton, defender in L/B position left on the seat of their pants ,easy cross to unmarked scorers, not the same players but same result.

Nobody seemed to complain which says it all Yeah I’ve watched the goals a few times and at no point did I consider Crama might have been fouled. He let the the ball bounce which he shouldn’t have done , then he got the wrong side which he shouldn’t have done and then he was too easily brushed off the ball. Which he shouldn’t have been.

Perhaps I watch too much Premiership on the TV but similar challenges usually result in fouls.

I watched it in slow motion on YouTube as I thought the Norwich player may have got a touch on the ball first but Crama clearly played the ball, I was always under the impression if a player had control of the ball and was then taken out it was a foul.

Slightly different as Vale was trying to see the ball out but got it all wrong, Crama tried to control the ball but was taken out.
