Yeah I’ve watched the goals a few times and at no point did I consider Crama might have been fouled. He let the the ball bounce which he shouldn’t have done , then he got the wrong side which he shouldn’t have done and then he was too easily brushed off the ball. Which he shouldn’t have been. I watched it in slow motion on YouTube as I thought the Norwich player may have got a touch on the ball first but Crama clearly played the ball, I was always under the impression if a player had control of the ball and was then taken out it was a foul. Crama never at any point had control of the ball, and that was the problem

There have been too many occasions this season where we have been very weak in challenges and come out second best and this was one of them. Connor Taylor whilst being excellent overall was the same at Wycombe. Our biggest problem is that all our current defenders have an error in them which is not surprising as three of our strongest defenders are missing due to injury. Not sure we've seen enough of Friend to say he's one of our strongest defenders? Agreed though we miss Wilson but at least Grant managed a full game without a mistake this week.

Dan Hargreaves going to town about Grant on Bristol Live, which is probably now setting him up to cost a game.

It could have easily cost us a goal as their guy went free down our right side and other players were caught on their heels. It didnt in the end but there was an improvement from him apart from that

I think half the problem is that defenders these days see smashing it away up the pitch or out for a throw or corner as a sign of weakness so they try and bring it under control and play out. Problem is the majority of lower league defenders simply aren’t capable of this consistently and that’s where mistakes happen. For example Vales mistake v Charlton was actually a catalogue of the very kind of mistakes that I’m talking about, the passage of play leading up to it was us playing a hospital ball in to midfield to a player with his back to goal and an opponent breathing down his neck which we conceded possession from then they break down the right and Vale trying to be too clever fails to deal with it down his side. On Saturday Crama shouldn’t have even let it bounce he should have just walloped it straight out for a throw or over the goal for a corner , wherever. It was a one on one , last man , you don’t take chances there and if he’d done that then the only way they would have scored is if he’d smashed it in to his own net but that would have been unlikely even for Crama.

You sense all the defenders are being encouraged to play a bit more from the back, just booting it out for a corner is from a different era.
Vale v Charlton just mistimed the speed of the ball and thought it would roll out for a goal kick, possibly his lack of experience at WB didn't help him.
