Anyone else noticed the refs have stopped giving us pointless yellows and Finley has stopped getting a yellow card first half?!
I applaud Matt Taylor, it clear to me he’s told the players (and Finley) to play the game fair, with respect and disciplined. I also think the refs are now favouring is more.

May be early days, but an interesting statto task at the end of the season.
Always felt we were starting with a card disadvantage under you know who.

To be fair I don't think we were "that bad" before. We were usually more fouled than fouling under JB...
But- it was clear in the first match that MT wanted the players to focus less on the ref, and focus on themselves. Caught him several times against Cheltenham encouraging both staff and players to move away from the ref think about the next bit... until around the 75th minute when he lost it.
Certainly where some of the small gains have come.

Thank you, DC used to talk about discipline, any others managers who were disciplinarian or sides over aggressive? Graydon was well over the top, always felt Garner couldn’t control them anyway, how was Cogs? |

Now can we have the yellow and red card counts for the last few seasons, I would have no idea of obtaining this?
It would be interesting to see a DC, Cogs and Garner season?
