Mad as it is, we are now nearer the relegation spots than the play offs
Can’t see us clawing back the gap now, it’s been a story of too many mistakes and injuries to key players.
I’d take a solid mid table finish and a trip to Anfield!

Not sure how we lost this... Oh hang on, yes because our two most influential players, Ward and Wilson were out injured... AGAIN.
We need bodies in the squad ASAP. The replacements aren't good enough.
Barnsley were poor, shouldn't be losing to dross like them IMO. Like in August, they got away with this again,as so a lot of our opposition. Needs to f£cking change ASAP!

13 points off play offs. Think even the most optimistic of fan should kiss goodbye to any thought of that. Yeah, think that’s it now, win today was vital. Oh well, concentrating on the cup 🤣

The sad thing is we could've been out of sight , but go home with no points!
Dont think MT will be as mad as Blackpool , he'll just know we are what we are UTG

Why so late to bring collins on?another game where pace and press up top would have got us something out of the game.

Competitive against the top teams but lacking the clinical pieces and consistency in order to challenge them and get in the top 6 over the course of a whole season it seems atm.

Same old , Same old. Mid table mediocrity. Not a chance we’ll finish top six, same issues as last season and the season before , always guaranteed to concede goals. Still time to improve the squad before the window closes , Good performance from the lads but same end result. Now the long journey home !

With the same players making the same mistakes progress is unlikely, JB should really have been fired in the summer when last season ended so poorly. You sense we've now blown probably our best chance for years to make the top 6 even if we do go on a spending spree this month

We just can't cope with injuries to our key players. Our depth might look ok on paper but the replacements are nowhere near top 6 league one standard.

Should have won that about 5-2 the amount of clear cut chances we squandered. Weve only got one forward who can put the ball in the back of the net and he’s mid thirties and his contract is about to expire. A very frustrating afternoon. Also how the hell is Cox considered league 1 standard his positioning for their winner was like watching a keeper in under 11s football. Just doesn’t inspire any confidence in the team , rarely makes saves other than the bread and butter and his kicking is awful. We need two strikers a better keeper ( send cox back ) and at least one more string commanding centre half if we’re going to get in the top 6 and I can’t see all of that happening this window.

Barnsley were bang average and yet we were not good enough.
Cox distribution again just is not good enough
Patched up defence … Connolly was ok, Crama did his best to hold it together
Evan’s had little opportunity to come forward and push us on.
Marquis \ Collins did very little when they came on.
I really will not be sorry to see the back of Grant and Brown when it happens .
Championship football is just a dream we are two strikers, two midfielders, two centre backs and a left back plus keeper short.
Summer will be vital but in a much tougher L1 next season who knows where we end up.
