Cox May go on to be a world class keeper none of us have a clue but right now and so far this season I don’t rate him at all.
I’ve played in goal all of my life and he just isn’t up to it in my opinion there must be better goalkeepers out there that we could sign.
Cox will go back to his club at the end of the season anyway so why wait until then we should be looking now.

Nigel Martyn was only 21 when we signed him from a club way down the football pyramid. So whats your point? That to say he won't make it 1 level above he is currently playing when he is only 20 years old which is incredibly young for a goalkeeper is a ridiculous statement when he has already done amazing to get to the point he is in his career and has huge potential to improve if he carries on his progress. That's my point. Perhaps he will make it as well as Matt Macey has. 🤷♂️ |

Well what good is it to us what he does in the future. At this present time he is completely out of his depth. Fans wouldn’t mind if it was our keeper that we were giving experience to. |

This is now a priority signing for a experienced keeper to put some calm behind a very young defence. A couple of defeats and suddenly looking down below us comes into play. Clean sheets have to come first soon. |

Oh well another weekend ruined for me by our inability to sign JCH, I genuinely believe that if we had signed him we would now be sitting comfortably in the playoff positions.

Cox reminds me of Lee Nichols. Almost every shot ends up in the goal.
And don't get me started on his kicking. . Twice in the first minute today Cock up Cox gave the ball straight to the opposition.
We don't need somebody that is learning their trade.

In reply to having the same points as JB , I'm indicating there has been no MT signings with this squad , so its no surprise were getting the same results.

A missed opportunity this, Barnsley very average They were poor at our place - we would have won comfortably that day if we could have put away just a fraction of the chances we created. It was the same for a lot of games under JB, Oxford etc. They sell Loft leaving us short up top, then they fail to sign JCH, then Barton is sacked due to league position |

You cant sack a manager for league position and not back your new manager in the next window, they are even stuttering over offering Martin a new deal |

Completely understand where people are coming from re Cox but I don't see he cost us anything today. I'll admit after 5 mins I was worried but apart from one header from a corner he hasn't made a save.
Having said that we concede far too easily, Barnsley barely had a shot and still scored twice
