Well perhaps he should be called a semi professional. Acts professionally when it suits him.

I can just imagine Ian Holloways reaction to a PROFESSIONAL footballer withdrawing his service to his club. I H, interviewed at length on Radio 5 last night re his total admiration for Jurgen Klopp.

Laters Aaron ya one season wonder. totally agree 👍 12 months of good football and suddenly he thinks he's Ian Wright 🙄 his history mirrors that of a certain Matty Taylor who thinks he's now bigger than the club that made him but I'm afraid you will follow the likes of Taylor and Ellis Harrison who were both of similar age and drop down the leagues into oblivion. I'm not bitter cause I actually want him to move on for a decent fee but it just gets my back up with strikers this club has had over the years when we sign a nobody then turn them into a player for them to treat us like this!

He has done his bit for the Gas' maybe a change around is good for all parties. If he pulled himself out of today's squad I don't find it professional however' if he does go then I will bear no ill will
Just better be for good money' that's all!

Find it refreshing that a PROFESSIONAL footballer asks for his services as a professional to be withdrawn. Omg!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Would you prefer them to pull on their boots and not break sweat, effectively leaving us a man down? No, I’d prefer him to do the job he’s fecking paid to do and not take the water!

Exactly, he's paid to do a job, not at his convenience.... Because he's decided not to do it, can we decide not to pay him?

Maybe lining up Smith as a replacement?

Maybe lining up Smith as a replacement? Idk how much Smith will cost but if we were got him and Conteh for less than we’ll sell Collins for, that’d be excellent business IMO.

Maybe lining up Smith as a replacement? Hope so!! We need an out and out striker We have enough quality in Thomas, Vale, maybe even Brown, who can fill the void He’s been especially poor this season so we won’t be missing too much! Don’t wish him any ill will but if he is off we need to get £750,000+ UTG

It’s a shame as he has been great for the GAS but but he obviously wants out so good luck to him as long as we get loadsa money and he doesn’t end up at the 1982 Sports Franchise

139 appearances and 39 goals. He's not exactly a goal pig so I'm not going to lose any sleep when he leaves us.

Hasn't turned up to the stadium today.
He told Taylor he wanted to go yesterday. Taylor told him he had to still turn up and he hasn't.
He's gone for sure now.

There's talk he could be off too the Saudi Arabia League. I heard he was setting up a Bristol Rovers coaching academy there.

Been sh** this season so the king Canute can bugger off on a decent fee. Move on Marquis as well and bring in JCH and Sam Smith and then let’s start a band with Jedward in goal

Shame its ended like this as he was one of the crowd favourites not so long ago, and the way he talked in interviews seemed like he loved the club and loved being here. Just get him moved on for as big a fee as possible and replaced now.

No surprise if aaron is off . He has been treated like dogshit this season by fans. Despite what he has previously done and he is one of the top goal providers this season in league one. Good luck to you AC. Thanks for the memories.

Good luck to you AC. Thanks for the memories. Perhaps he’s been treated like dog sh** by supporters because he hasn’t put any effort in since nobody wanted to sign him last Jan for a decent fee and Wales chose not to pick him. Perhaps he needs to have a think about why that might be. Bolton, not so great. Wrexham? Having a laugh hope he has fun in league 2 with the Hollywood wankers.
