Been sh** this season so the king Canute can bugger off on a decent fee. Move on Marquis as well and bring in JCH and Sam Smith and then let’s start a band with Jedward in goal I see what you did there I like it! Just a shame it’s ended like this, a great player for us who we paid feckall for and now we will get prob half a million for his services. A bit of respect required here gasheads please, and who can forget the traffic lights celebration with his old mate Nick Anderton, legends! Good luck Aaron 👏.

To be fair he probably needs a change of scenery at a new club, but the way he seems to have acted will leave things a bit sour

Gaffer inadvertently confirmed we're in talks with one club. "The decision is in our hands and it will be between us and the other club". Also said that there were two clubs enquiring recently (assuming last few days) but one has pulled out at present.

Maybe lining up Smith as a replacement? It won't be Sam Smith more likely Will Evans from Newport. We are shopping in Lidl not Waitrose.

If it is Wrexham. Make them pay.. they clearly have loads of money, wealthy owners, big sponsorship deals, tv programme. If they don't want to pay 750k+ then no deal. I’m sad to say on recent form (12 months) he’s worth nowhere near that anymore. Wherever he goes I wish him well tho. I don't know, he obviously wanted elsewhere, so we should be seeing how much they really want him. Has 18 months on his contract, so totally in our hands. Like to think we learn something from Posh, they always get good money for their players.

Not a chance MT is allowed to replace Collins if he goes before the deadline, imo.

This window, well really the next 4 days, is the best opportunity we have to sell him for the most money imaginable. Will be worth hardly anything with 12 months left in the summer, and no one will pay anything for him thereafter nor will he sign a new deal. It’s sell him now for as best a fee possible, or get next to nothing for him. Theres a few the serious interest has come now and not earlier in the month.

Collins Bidding War underway. Wrexham vs Bolton I’d also heard Charlton. I suspect it will end up being Wrexham for big wages - they were paying their striker £5k pw in the conference so probably able to offer a lot bigger wage than he’s on with us. I don’t think the fee will be as much as people think. A year ago he’d have been worth £1.5m but his form for the past year has probably brought that down to £0.5m. Still enough to bring JCH in. !!!!

How is that true, say he doesn't leave and plays well for the rest of the season..he will obviously be worth more. We don't have to sell him, we picked him up for nothing from FGR, so absolutely is I'm our hands. As for him not playing, I'd rather he didn't play if he was distracted, so respect that he made himself unavailable. Wish him all the best until he plays against us again.

Disappointed that he's ruled himself out today. Should be sold now and hopefully we get at least £750k + a sell on % - if he goes to Wrexham they will be challenging in L1 next season and his stock will rise.
We definitely need to replace him, very light in attacking areas now.

Yes it’s totally in our hands if we don’t care about getting any money for him. Can say that about any club with any player under contract in the world if you don’t care about them leaving for nothing 👍🏻

Not a chance MT is allowed to replace Collins if he goes before the deadline, imo. I think you’re wrong. I don’t know if we’ll spend exactly what we get in but to say not a chance we’ll replace him is a bold statement.

Not a chance MT is allowed to replace Collins if he goes before the deadline, imo. Fortunately your opinion counts for nothing, I can't see the owners letting MT spend £300K on a DCM then not allowing him to sign a striker imo.

You think the amateurs we have running this place atm, a few days after MT said “there’s no scouting in players that will bring options to the table” will be able to turn around a big money signing in the space of a few days? Not a chance for me. Best chance we have is Matt being allowed to bring in someone he knows

Wrexham don't seem to be paying big transfer fees? Although perhaps they think AC is worth pushing the boat out for.
