Really surprised at what some of our fans would accept for Aaron!
Anything less than £1m would be awful business, we got £750K for Ellis Harrison years ago for god sake!

I shall be sad to see him go, whatever the fee. But all good things come to an end and a new start might well be best for him and us.

Aaron is an emotional character and needs to be loved. He loved moving back here and was on a high, the club were also on the up and he was flying and loving the atmosphere. We reached a peak with promotion and he rode that wave for another season buy he's come crashing down with our struggles and I think he hasn't coped well coming from that high and he wants to get back on it. He's flat, trying but just not feeling it as he was. The lad physiologically needs a move. I personally believe Wrexham is the move he needs. He's a showman, will love the extra attention and I can see him riding their wave for a while until he then again gets found out towards the top of league one when it's not so easy for them anymore. A move to Bolton for example, for me will see him rarely start and eventually come back down to league 2. If I was his agent, I'd say move to Wrexham.

Shame but I can understand the off-field allure of going there. Big coup for them too and I think the long term benefits of being in their limelight will aid his Welsh NT ambitions. Good luck to him.
