Another striker needed!
Be interesting to see who MT has lined up
I like the look of Smith at Reading.
Will need another body up top, don’t think Martin and Marquis together are a good pairing, too similar.

Will be sad to see him go but for a decent fee now is probably the right time to sell. Ideally 750k at least. Thanks for the memories. Your promotion celebrations will never be forgotten
Hope we get someone like smith to replace him.
Also expect a keeper as MT hinted Ward may go back out on loan.

Laters Aaron ya one season wonder. One year wonder perhaps, 2022. 2021 we all wondered why we’d got him and in 2023 he just couldn’t repeat what he did in previous year. And 2024 looks to be a year when he stops acting professionally. Think he’s a very good player but he really does need to stop diving and stay on his feet and if he has refused or even asked ‘not to be considered’ that’s very poor. I’m sure he expects to get paid. Sad if he goes but not the end of the world but if anyone wants him then they pay at least £1m. On the lengthy contract still remaining we can play a longer game and make sure we get a top fee. If Wrexham or anyone else want him badly enough then they have to pay. UTG! |

Unlike some of the dickhead comments on here , I’ll appreciate what he’s done for our club. In his pomp he was excellent running at oppo defenders and causing havoc. Also chipped in with a lot of classy goals.
Lost his way this season but that happens with plenty of players after a while. Best he moves on for both parties.

I think moving positions never helped. He wants clean grass to run into. Either with the ball or behind a defender- we've not quite played like that for a while.
Great servant to the club and yes- he didn't play today but truthfully that was for the best of Bristol Rovers. We have adequate players in that position and if Azzas head wasn't in it- that'd be a huge risk.

Before everyone kills the lad, he’s been treated bad by the club.
We offered him an extension around the time JCH was about to sign, the deal was agreed and you can guess who pulled it. His name has also been hawked around all over the place for last 2 weeks as well by club.
Personally I will always thank him and clap him when he returns to face us one day. But even before his contract issue this season, his form since last Christmas has been bad and I would take £500k plus for him.

Saw him mooching around the pitch like he was seeing out the game too often for my liking over the last 15 months. Falling over if anyone farts within 10 feet of him.
I guess we'll never know for real how he went from being one of the hottest properties in the lower two tiers to looking like he'd struggle to out-think and out-manoeuvre a donkey on Weston beach.
Can't pin the blame JAB now - MT gave him a clean slate and run to prove his worth, and he failed to do so.
Would it surprise me if he goes to Wrexham and sets them alight? No. He clearly has the talent, but not the all-round application. Very much an 'if I am in the mood' player. No heart.

Makes me laugh, I said before Wrexham were keen but put off by the asking price! That may change and they may come back in but as it stands if he leaves it won’t be for Wrexham
