My grandmother was Welsh 😳 only kidding. wouldn’t the gas and many other lower league clubs love to be in Wrexham's shoes. all I can say is good luck to them as the club and town are thriving under the new ownership . Don’t somehow think the Kuwait owners will do that for us. But live in hope. UTG

I still don't get this love in with Wrexham and being branded as a mega wealthy club now.
I am pretty sure Wael is wealthier than Ryan Reynolds on his own.
People keep carrying on as if they are going to be in The Premier League in a few years just because some actors bought them.

I've always really disliked Wrexham. Always been a bogey team for us and really do not get the fan boy treatment they get in the media, it's embarrassing. I just do not get it.
However if we can get anything above £350k and a curly wurly from them for AC then my dislike of them will go down a tad.
For me, I know AC has assists this season, but he has been SO Poor. So weak, scared of the ball and players, he can't wait to get rid of it.
Go to Disney FC mate, I think you've burned your bridges now.

Yesterday he was hung out to dry by the manager telling the press he didn't want to play. Would have been quite a few players in the efl who are in collins position at this time of the year and the usual comment is they have an injury. Now if the move doesn't happen and up up staying will get nothing but grief by some if he doesn't score or preforms a 10 out of 10.

He’ll go there for 300k and find his form on his debut.
I honestly believe that -although he is out form - he will come good and start firing again.

Nah , being hung out to dry is when you have a bad game and your manager crucifies your character in the press. Refusing to play and then your manager being truthful about it in the press is nobodies fault but his own

f**k off Collins. You leave behind some great memories before a year of absolute dross. I hope we have a decent sell on clause because if you give a sh** you could be worth something. But I would bet my mortgage that 5 years from now BRFC are in a better place than you are you useless sack of sh** Did he run off with your Mrs? Jesus.

They say that the January market is an inflated one, so if he's off? Let's see an inflated price! Hope we play hard ball as he has 18 months left. Got a feeling he will still be here at the end of the window.

Yes I wouldn’t sell for anything under £500,000 Not worth it Especially if we don’t have a definite replacement lined up I’ll put aside any Ill feeling if he puts the quarters back on, does nobody any favours to target him. As MT said the ball is in our court No pants pulled down please! UTG

Collins said he was not in the right mind to play and was left out for that reason. We have all seen his recent non performances where his mind has clearly been elsewhere and no doubt a couple of games sat on the bench has shattered his ego. I thank him for his past efforts but it is now clearly the time for him to move on. Wherever that maybe I wish him all the best.

Let's hope he's gone by Wednesday as best for the club and player. Don't want him sulking around till the end of the season.

Nobody will want that kind of player in the summer We can’t let him dictate play here He’s on a long contract If the asking price isn’t met (£600,000 plus 20 percent sell on seems reasonable) then back to training, and do what you’re paid to do If he’s got genuine ambition he will fight extra hard If he hasn’t then it could be career over UTG

I get the argument about his service and wishing it all goes well for him.
I also reckon this happens far more often than we think and is almost the done thing anyway as suggested under the guise of injury.
However it’s the gall of it that gets me.
His first 6 months was pretty poor, he had a green patch for 12 months after which he was hot property. At which point he seemingly let it get to his head. Forgot how to pass to his teammates, couldn’t hit a barn door, diving constantly without any hope of getting a foul (can’t compare to Chris Martin who often wins the foul vs never getting ANYTHING - and if you don’t like that anyway - it’s the modern game). Worst of all it all seems to have transpired after he failed to get his move and to be selected for his national team.
He has been god awful poor for far longer than he has been good and it leaves a sour taste in my mouth when we’re left feeling he thinks he’s bigger than our club. And he’s off courting with a basket case of a fellow league one club and a football club in the league below with grandstand owners who are chucking money at the wall like sh** and don’t deserve to go up IMO. I don’t see how these clubs are that much better of an option than us?
Perhaps I am being a bit unfair? You’ll have to forgive me for being a bit bitter about it all. IMO he just hasn’t covered himself in glory in the way he has conducted himself. And as much as he played an important part in the promotion season we have been patient with him as a club and as supporters in those darker times and always willed him on to come good. And at the same time paid him well with lucrative contract extensions after his first season.
If you disagree with that as we allegedly messed him around as we bailed out of a contract then yeah maybe that’s not a fair thing to do but perhaps it was the right thing given how he was performing.

Any player who acts like that doesn’t deserve protection with the ‘injured’ line. He’s disrespected the club, fans, his manager and his team mates. He could’ve made himself available till the last minute and chipped off wherever, outright refusing to play is a shocker and something very few (if any) come back from in the eyes of the supporters. He better hope he gets that move.

Given his age, numbers he’s reached over the past few seasons, ok even with lack of quality recently he still really works his arse off for the team. He must surely be reaching nearer the million pound mark. Given Conteh is worth £300 k.
Good luck to him, feel he’s ran his rovers race. Look forward to the excitement of welcoming a new striker before deadline day.
Still buzzin from yesterday!! UTG

I've seen a lot people saying how they will pass us and everyone in no time at all. But they were the only other club that didn't get the paperwork in on time, during the summer window. They said they can't pay for the new stand themselves, after pulling down the old one. They want it paid for them and have done a temporary stand as the delays were a lot longer than they thought. If it was us, everyone would be moaning, but they are very well run.
