The first point has been made by others on this and other threads. Doesn’t make it true. The gossip circle keeps repeating it so it’s now gaschat fact Odd time to offer someone a contract who had almost 2 years left on one so if true probably a good call to not throw more money away? Not saying if true or not, poster said first time he had heard of it when it's been on a few threads.

There is no question that over a year ago he was hot property and a fantastic player to watch and a fans favourite. As regards Aaron’s value/potential I suppose the question is:
Is he not what he was/had potential to be anymore? Or have Joe Barton and Matt Taylor both failed to coach, utilise, get the best out of him?
I suppose we’ll never really know.

People honestly think we are in a strong position here and will get more money for him in the summer, with even less time on his contract, than we will in a January window that has 3 days left Honestly 🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ He's got 18 months left on his contract. Whether it's now or the summer our valuation and asking price won't need to change. It's in our hands.

Funny how easily one of our best players is being ridiculed and abused by many. Maybe the right coaching and encouragement would get him firing again, who knows but I find it odd that so many can turn, so quickly. Just an observation. I know football is a very fickle game. If he did basically refuse to be selected yesterday then that is enough reason for him to go down in fans estimations imo

It's not though, as we really now need to move him on this window, as I can't see his value increasing in the summer the way he's (not) been performing lately.

Not even close.

Well yes it is, he has a valuation if the interested clubs want him they'll have to meet it. It may not increase but it's not going to decrease He's still effectively got 2 seasons left on his contract. Whether it's now or the summer won't have any affect on our valuation.

There could be many reasons why a player could lose form including personal life, not earning as much as others, not getting a move they wanted, confidence, injuries etc.
Regarding AC he's a talented player. During the last match AC played someone shouted out to him that he was a 'ducking r sole' which doesn't help matters.

To me AC is at his best a top league 1/2 player but would struggle in the Championship,if he were to recapture his form it would be like us having a new player in the team so maybe worth sticking with him to get him back to form, look at Evans last season was awful but has been outstanding for us this year, I firmly believe if AC had been in last years form we would be bang up there in the play offs UTG.

Not even close. Last 12 months agreed. The thing with Aaron Collins is that even though he's a pale shadow of what he was a year ago he's still statically in the top 2 most creative players in the Division. He still contributes even if his overall game has declined rapidly.

Now we are in 2024, last years form for AC was shocking. However, if you mean last seasons for up to Christmas then I would agree we would be in the playoffs. Something changed at that point and he has never been the same. Did he get injured? Its a weird one alright, he just doesn't seem to be the same player.

Both him & Coburns form dropped massively in the 2nd half of last season. First half of last season they were brilliant.

My grandmother was Welsh 😳 only kidding. wouldn’t the gas and many other lower league clubs love to be in Wrexham's shoes. all I can say is good luck to them as the club and town are thriving under the new ownership . Don’t somehow think the Kuwait owners will do that for us. But live in hope. UTG Why would we love to be in their shoes?
I still don't get this love in with Wrexham and being branded as a mega wealthy club now.
I am pretty sure Wael is wealthier than Ryan Reynolds on his own.
People keep carrying on as if they are going to be in The Premier League in a few years just because some actors bought them.
Net worth of circa $350 million dollars. Recently sold his gin business for $600m plus involved in a mobile business…. He’s doing alright for an actor 😁

Yesterday he was hung out to dry by the manager telling the press he didn't want to play. Would have been quite a few players in the efl who are in collins position at this time of the year and the usual comment is they have an injury. Now if the move doesn't happen and up up staying will get nothing but grief by some if he doesn't score or preforms a 10 out of 10. Matt Taylor tells it like it is , this is what I like about him. Would you rather he’d lied to us ?

He was only captain for a few games whilst Coutts and Finley were out. Temporary captaincy removed, improved contract agreed then withdrawn, slated in the press, told wouldn't be good enough for Wales and now hawked around like a piece of meat.

Yeah him and his mate are incredibly wealthy compared to me and you, but they're paupers compared to the multi Billionaire owners of Premier League clubs and certain Championship ones. I think Waels wealth combined with his Kuwaiti Comrades will exceed Ryan Reynolds. Wrexham are just showing off, I don't see why people think they're going to instantly climb the leagues.
