Jevani brown should never pull on a Rovers shirt again. From my seat in the east stand I could not believe that he spent all of his time so say warming up chatting to the Exeter subs and their fans. Ha! They booed him on his entry...

Haven't mentioned this on here but at Wycombe he was the same, first half warm up down the line he was more interested in somebody in our end he obviously knew, family I suspect, then half time spent near on the entire break chatting to supporters behind the goal, a total water taker!

Our best chance of staying up lies with Reading fans misbehaving again and having some more points deducted. Struggling to see where our next point is coming from let alone winning a football match.

Genuinely could not believe the first half the multiple times Cox kicked the ball out of play on the dugout side. Absolute monstrous winds blowing the ball in that direction and he still kicked it to that side. Nothing to do with even goalkeeping ability that, just plain stupidity. Like they've never seen any wind before.

He was waving them over to that side first... or he could have just kicked it up the middle rather than towards the dugout with the wind helping it fly out of play. Between the 11 of them out there nobody seemed to address it is pretty unbelievable.

Still a load of belters dishing out unnecessary hate on Jevani Brown tonight then. Meanwhile Aaron Collins gets off scot free for not giving a toss about the game, again.
Funny that…

Offers absolutely nothing and replaced a player who was at least giving it a go I agree that he deserves criticism for past performances but I thought he played ok tonight. He was involved in most of the moves later in the 2nd half with some good passing and link up play.

He was involved in most of the moves later in the 2nd half with some good passing and link up play. Agreed, he seemed positive, always looking to play a pass forward instead of back. I actually think we should give him a run in the team and focus play through him. The good couple of chances we had at the end had him involved one or two passes just before.

Maybe, I was just expecting more from him given many Exeter fans have him as their favourite ever player. He seems to just play the simple passes, which is more than most tonight but still doesn't seem to create many chances which were expected after last season. I think it speaks volumes he can't nail down a starting place even with injuries/illness and the fact his old manager is here.

Mangan wanted to recall Belshaw and play him after the Reading game but was blocked from doing so by our board. I’d love to know what really happened between Barton and Belshaw . Belly always came across very professional and in our promotion season was outstanding for us winning man of the match most weeks, then we had a run where the defence was awful and he made a couple of mistakes also and Barton hung him out to dry whilst not criticising the poor defending at all. I’m convinced that if he had been given a chance after Barton had left we would be better off than with Cox in goal. I believe this was the biggest turning point of all and we have not been close to previous performances after. I think Belly had a fair few players onside.

I'm utterly terrified about these owners. Something doesn't sit right at all. Same. Same here.

Dont believe the owners are providing funds and I wont believe it until i see these players come in. JCH IMO was just a show and they had no intention of paying for him. Think it’s become very clear, thst that can be the only logical explanation really. Given hours of notice what we need to do to extend. Miss the deadline to sign by ‘seconds’. Occam’s razor and all that. IIRC, there was a comment on another thread - possibly from Roadman, but don’t hold me to that - to the effect that Al-Saeed’s son had pulled the plug on the JCH deal at the last minute. No idea whether or not this is true though . . .

In the defence of the club: We are absolutely ravaged by injuries. We have wingers playing as wing backs, Josh Grant in midfield and we have a recalled loan in CB as we have most of ours out injured.
Exeter played well on the night.
Also, as we have so many injured who’s left have had to play a lot of minutes. I thought last night they either looked tired, or something has happened in the club. There’s either players leaving or they are upset about something.
I’m sorry as I always like giving youth a chance but we are not a training team for young keepers. Cox is not up to the job. Sure; all players make errors be we can’t afford errors in goal. Their goal I think he could have held on to that.
Only whinging point I would make is Exeter began timewasting at the 29th minute and the referee allowed them to take the p all game. Plus not sure how our goal was offside.
All in all a horrible night beaten by a team full of shithousery but ultimately on balance they deserved the points.

Dont believe the owners are providing funds and I wont believe it until i see these players come in. JCH IMO was just a show and they had no intention of paying for him. What about the stand…that’s a show is it? Or the debts being paid off. All a show. I do find it hard to understand how anyone could believe a football club would conspire to fake a transfer for PR. They really don’t care about what you think, you’re elevating the fans to be more important than they are. The BOD aren’t sad there quaking and thinking up ways to fool you. If they have no money they’ll say they have no money. If they say they have no money, what are you going to do? Nothing. They have nothing to fear and no reason to fake transfers. It’s their club; they own it, you don’t, and they don’t and shouldn’t care what we think because we contributed £50 a month whereas they contribute several million a year - as evidenced on the club accounts, which by the way aren’t faked either. You’re discrediting yourself with this opinion Steve, sorry mate but it’s the kind of opinion a child would have. To get this straight: Taylor rumoured £300K plus wages - real Brown Thomas Martin Hunt Friend All experienced league 1 or championship players and on good money. These have to be real given we can see them playing. The stand - multi-millions, real. JCH - faked, because we don’t have any money despite all the above. Think these things through, is all I’m saying. If we didn’t have any money we would have a team of kids. We wouldn’t have a new stand. I don’t know what you have against the owners given they’ve done more for this club in one season than any of our previous owners did in 50 years. We had to fund a roof for the blackthorn ourselves, remember? The idea that the club went through the motions, met the boro board, agreed a fee, got JCH for a medical, and then at the last minute cackled on a swivel chair with a cat and said “I’ll just wait to 12:01 to send this” and then said “RIGHT. Call the press!” And started typing on twitter “this will really fool those fans into believing we have money hur hur hur” Really? It’s not a Netflix show!

Thankfully after the Oxford game we have a week off as this team clearly needs it. Then it's another 4 games in 10 days which for such a thin squad we could really do without.

Our only threatening period came after he came on.

We've beaten Portsmouth and Bolton recently. Not time for doom and gloom just yet, but we need to start getting some clean sheets....
