“Don’t take it out on the players, take it out on me “our new Manager has just said. Sounds like he has thrown in the towel already. His further comments about the lack of incomings, is also very worrying. Something is clearly wrong and it would appear our new owners are not exactly wanting to throw the cash around and our Manager sounded like a man who is thinking he has made a big mistake coming here. Nothing surprises me at Rovers, so it’s anyone’s guess what will happen next. sounds like he has given up on the season

The atmosphere was like the weather last night People around me were either resigned to this kind of performance or just moaned and groaned all game What I don’t understand is how it’s come to this regarding the squad. We sent back 2 central midfielders and now have absolutely no steel in the middle. God only knows what formation we were playing second half. Nobody wanted the ball, it was as bad as I’ve seen for a long time Exeter were awful, we were just slightly more awful No winning of the second ball, the only player that showed some proper fight was McCormick If we don’t act soon this team will struggle to get to 50 points and crowds will dip to the 6-7,000 mark Making my 200 mile round trip hard to justify! Still a load of belters dishing out unnecessary hate on Jevani Brown tonight then. Meanwhile Aaron Collins gets off scot free for not giving a toss about the game, again. Funny that… Interesting point, and on a one match basis that post might stand up. The thing is, most Gas are incredibly loyal. So, apart from the traffic light season (where he was unstoppable), AC has been up there with his assists and even formed a great striking partnership for coburn. He still is up there with assists this season. JB? His contributions by comparison?

Making my 200 mile round trip hard to justify! UTG Wah! Kampuchea 100 miles away? We are in Asia! Typhoon season... Bet the monsoon was nothing compared to the start of the second half last night! I do miss sitting in a hammock watching the downpours, sipping my coconuts and munching a bowl of spicy noodles Stood on the west terrace eating a burnt sausage roll wasn’t quite the same! Up the gas Up the Cambodia!

The previous incumbent would have been singling out individuals, throwing them to the wolves. Serious concerns about the new owners though. I have a feeling they are exceptionally bad news.

“Don’t take it out on the players, take it out on me “ sounds like he has thrown in the towel already; smacks of Tisdale's last stand, the night he told us "that he could not do anything with this squad". If walking away from the ground after yet another awful performance and no wins from the last 6 games was not bad enough, the faithful's messiah came on the radio, sounding absolutely down trodden and tells the congregation his ambitions for Saturday is to get to half time without conceding a goal, really ! how about scoring goal ?

Wow. You have absolutely no clue about management And we had scored in something like 22 consecutive games before last night - so his ambition makes a lot of sense. Move on from your messiah. Says so much about you who sticks that filth on a pedastool. Stop crying.

Taylor is a fairly dour guy and I took that interview mainly to mean that we have a crocked squad and who is left is tired.
The concerning parts were about the mentality of the squad, and speak of not coping with the pressure etc which is either really bad PR or trying to provoke a reaction. Leaders should always provide some positives and be convinced of future success. The only other logical reason he’d talk his team down would be to elicit a response.
Or he could be possibly poor at interviews, shared his thoughts on his team and then backtracked and said don’t blame them buck stops with me.
It was never going to be a positive post match. It’s not so much the score line but that first half was really awful. At least under Barton we were dominating games and losing.

On possession maybe? But nothing else. Passing the ball around aimlessly, deep inside your own half does not count as "dominating"!

Our best chance of staying up lies with Reading fans misbehaving again and having some more points deducted. Struggling to see where our next point is coming from let alone winning a football match. We've beaten Portsmouth and Bolton recently. Not time for doom and gloom just yet, but we need to start getting some clean sheets.... We are 4 points ahead of Shrewsbury who sit in 20th place. Fortunately Reading have already had points deducted and have more hanging over them - if it wasn’t for that we would be in deeper 💩 than we are now. The wins v Pompey and Bolton seem so distant now, our form and confidence has fallen off a cliff and it sounds like we’re struggling to get any new faces in. I think I’m right to be very worried and can’t wait for the season to be over tbh.

Win our game in hand and there are still 12 teams below us, stop conceding poor goals and our scoring record suggests we will win a fair few of the remaining 57 points up for grabs.

The fact chronically out-of-form players are still being picked isn't helping the cause - injuries or no injuries. Feels like we're playing with 9 men at times as a consequence.
If Rossiter was hoiked onto the pitch in his wheelchair like Ironside he'd do no worse than certain people right now.

I don’t like it when the crowd get on the backs of individual players examples - cox and Brown - once a player puts on the shirt you have to encourage rather than criticise, in most cases it’s counter productive. 💙🤔Utg
