What is going on here?
Why are we yet to replace the “football man” Eddy Jennings. The department is a disgrace.
Left in a very very unhealthy position by the former head of football operations. I have to question how he ever got the job in the first place, a top 8 budget blown on a squad that’s woefully short of quality past the best 11.
This really really needs sorting out and ASAP.

Taylor just said it on the radio. When he came in we had no scouting and we are behind all other clubs in recruitment.
My old pal , Roadman ,always said EJ having that job was basically fraud…he was right

It’s mid season ….. difficult to replace a scouting team for obvious reasons.
Let’s just try and stay in this division , let Taylor get the team around him he wants and get in the players he wants. Most of the fringe players are just not good enough .

The ownership of the club worries me, nothing is being done to reassure me the club is in safe hands.
Why have we not recruited in this window. We need what seems an ever growing number of players.

I’m sorry but this goes back years and years and we are seeing one again what a scatter gun approach under the previous majority owner has done for us. 20-30 million quid we’ve lost in the last 8 years and we have no scouting department in place. Its a joke |

I wonder who Eddie is? |

A proper disgrace that we ever let this bloke run the football department , it was clear to anyone with a brain what would happen here. |

His head of recruitment at Aldershot was a scout here I believe? Just made a huge profit selling a player to them across the road. |

Should we mostly be blaming the newer owner for not getting anyone in by now or should it be laid at Wael's feet for allowing our former manager to take so much control over it in the first place?

We need football people running the football side of things and keep the bankers and builders away and focused on improving the other "mess". A Football club and manager lives and dies by it's recruitment and we don't even have a head of recruitment or chief scout. P!ss poor planning results in p!ss poor performance. |
