Just got back in the car . Got to say of all the nights to switch so a slow patient possession build up tonight was obviously not the night. Taylor got this horribly wrong. Why start Vaughn he’s a tiny winger this was never going to be his game. Really poor tonight it was like having Barton back playing in slow motion. Aguilara had to be pushed further forwards I can’t believe he didn’t change the things that were obviously wrong. Awful. Still think we'll make the Playoffs with the 50 (oops I mean 48 points) to play for?

Well if anyone didn’t think the season was over before, they certainly must do now. Horrible night

Sooner we get past fifty points the better, how bloody depressing because I wrote that last season, and I'll probably write it again next season,oh what fun being a gashead. A d this just sums up bipolar gaschat. 3 days ago we're making the Playoffs and going up. Now we're in a relegation battle 🤣 When the truth is we're just an average inconsistent mid table team going nowhere this season. Does and if that makes this forum what does it make the manager and team, Taylor said Saturday our aim is to target the sides above us and Crama said they are still pushing for the play offs? And I will add, we beat Oxford who were 6th and Exeter on a good run who beat Peterborough tonight. Bolton and Portsmouth dispatched as well, if we are bipolar, our team is Kerry Katona on crack as well

Abysmal. Fleetwood played the conditions. Scored a goal from simply keeping the ball alive and a second where they just put a corner into the box rather than messing around with it. It was no coincidence our best spell of pressure was right at the end when we just started putting the ball into the box and causing problems.

Fleetwood fair due played to the conditions and deserved the win. Yet again a wet windless performance via the Gas, we did not look like scoring, or should I say that we could not buy a goal. We huffed and puffed but never looked likely of anything worthy. Well done to the hardy 87 Cod army who made the miserable journey south, safe journey home you guys 👏. And as we say down these parts “ I’ve never known a night like it, and I ain’t looking forward to the journey home neither 😂” UTFG

Sinclair would score for fun in a forward advanced position. Just check out his goals for Celtic. Or we struggle for goals for the rest of the season. Can't keep swapping forwards they need a run in the team. Oh for JCH what a total balls up by the owners we even had the money this window.

Exeter could have been a very different score if Ward wasn't MOM and we scored a wonder goal. Portsmouth and Bolton fair enough.

Poor again. This squad has now been blown up I feel. 5 out of the 11 are loan players. With 3 being 33+. Terrible Tactically. Feel for the nucleus of the team (Connor Taylor, Antony Evans, Luke Thomas etc) who we could have built something around but Matt Taylors stamp on it isn’t helping. Evans was obviously frustrated with the tactics tonight. Not enjoying Taylor’s run as manager so far.

We have looked clueless tonight. Unable to cope with the conditions unable to string more than a pass together. Matt Taylor you have some work to do to convince me you are the man. He's got girth so I've heard.

Substitution Taylor? Martin is trotting around again, guess it will be fine if he gets his standard goal when we’re behind. gets his final pay day. Laughing all the way down the tunnel

If we played well and lost is one thing, but it's really poor entertainment. We just don't have an attacking threat. Watched some pretty poor stuff lately, going to save myself a few quid me thinks.

We play on grass and have a road nearby..

That’s me done for the MTD’s this season then, as per the other thread, never look further than your next game. It’ll always come and bite you.
Echoes of the recent Blackpool/Exeter home double header where we binned 6 points away. Another 3 tonight and a chance to close the gap on Stevenage to 9.
Very disappointing. & no Martin on Saturday to cap it all off.

The league table doesn’t lie, we beat a good Oxford side who drew 3 days later 2-2 with Pompey. But I’m not here to argue, I’m disappointed like all of us, because we’ve seen Trolls, DC and Barton sides make incredible run in promotion pushes, the fans, this forum, get carried away. Ed Hadwin asked me 3 weeks ago on Having a Gas if we could make the plays offs and I said no, I said the squad was too weak and we were hoodwinked.

Had the tools to blow them out of sight tonight. Shocking starting 11 to play god knows what formation. Static person up top in these conditions and as the game wore on remove any resemblance of attacking football by bringing on more defensive players. Was Taylor in the right dugout
