It's a nothing letter without anything of substance. Talk is cheap. How do we expect to build a "competitive first team" when we don't have any scouting or recruitment support staff? Unbelievable it hasn't been addressed yet. "We are committed to providing Matt with full backing and the resources needed to make this vision a reality". As always at this football club, I'll believe it when I see it! Agree, tells us nothing more than we already know and lack of substance. We will know a lot more about both our owners and manager by this time next year. |

Well If what he says comes to fruition , happy fckn days , but remember how equally impressive the RB interview was in August , and we are far from top 8 at the mo.
Now first we need to be in this division ( which I think we will ) , then get to summer when I will hold him to his word. Until then , nice to hear from him and a well put

Amazes me that some fans can read what looks like a positive letter and find nothing but negatives in it . All life is here ! 😂👍 7 years ago we were told it was evolution and not a revolution. 2 months ago we were told “we will spend a little this window” but we are going for the Premiership. Now a 3 year Championship target, not we aim to get to this level as quick as we can with another top 8 budget? Do up the Mem, not a new East Stand, a Carlisle version, I don’t see how this will be fit for the Premiership and a 16,000 stadium. Luton are building a new one, Bournemouth also building a new stadium www.thesun.co.uk/sport/25261476/premier-league-bournemouth-new-stadium/amp/So I’m negative, 3 years to the Championship in a banger stadium, and this will then take us to the promised land! Last year it was the FM site video, around ST announcement time, now this latest one. If people can’t read between the lines that cuts are coming and being made as we speak, they are clueless. I know for a fact Wayne Carlisle agreed a full time deal, and it was pulled. I’ve mentioned hotel rooms cancelled, it’s only Taylor and his contacts that will keep us going, if he fails we can’t afford to pay 3 management teams so you might as well get behind him |

I am tired of the statements, the evolution stuff, FM Site videos, now 3 years to the Championship, why not 5 years? It’s just number plucked from the air. If Gloucestershire County Cricket move to a new fantastic facility, it’s us left in the done up Carlisle ground. How does anyone really think this is going to make us a premiership chasing side. Upon taking the helm, we quickly discovered that the developer involved in the previous stadium development plans at the fruit market site chose not to proceed further with the project
I thought we pulled out as the deal wasnt right? So it was conygar that pulled the plug then??

So how are you going to support Taylor? Signing players is a given and a must but what about a footballing recruitment structure? When would you look to have that in place.
Champ in 3 years you say? Cool, what makes it a 3 year plan? What targets have been set? What if you/we fail? Who's responsible? Tom? Abdullatif? you? Who's going to take responsibility for that? Talking of responsibility how about a board structure to show us that we have skilled people making sure we are commercially ready, business ready and being leadership ready for the champ? What budget are you going to set to make sure we will get there?
16k capacity stadium? Heard that from you before. I don't need plans right now, but what's next for the stadium given that you couldn't put soap and towels in the toilets in the south stand the other week? Have we spoken to architects? If so, when can we expect to see some plans?
You want to develop the Quarters? Nice. What about the plans to give a lot of the site away that was revealed by South Glos Council? When do you expect to do that? How will the finance be raised? When can we expect to see a vision for this?
The season ticket sales are due to start soon and we've had a 💩season so let's pedal some BS out to tickle the ears of the fans is how I read that.
It would be so much better to let us have an open letter of who the directors are, what their skill sets are, what they are doing, how that will help us and what responsibilities they have first and Then give us plans for a footballing structure before making wild promises of championship and premiership football in a piecemeal stadium.
