Can some of the more tactically minded people here tell me what exactly changed to make us go on to win? It doesn't always need a tactical explanation. There's a psychological aspect too. There's momentum and some luck. The manager was brave and made a change because his original idea was a disaster. Taking socrates comment about Stevenage playing the same way all season(unsure how you'd know this) makes our starting set up more concerning since he should have done his homework. That being said he's still learning the players and has had a very unsettled squad due to injuries and new loanees. In short. He gave our most dangerous player on the night more opportunity to receive the ball in space and got it forwards quicker.

Fair play to MT for speaking to the fans no ole's and punching the air, feet grounded in touch with reality and focusing on what's next..."those shirts weighed heavy on those lads, they need you for longer". Clearly is short on options, injury, fitness and suspension issues hanging and MT knows everyone has to get behind what we have and get the best out them. Terraces to pitch all one team. Well done MT, proper manager and leader.

Im starting to think she is more mellow without KB , good nights work from her bar telling me the s*** were winning! Strange how she suddenly raises her voice for pretty dull things like a throw in or reading out a score from another game though. It’s like she can’t pick her times to sound excited. Very weird, but she’s doing her best and you’ve got to start somewhere and radio Bristol is probably the lowest tier of radio. Thought she did very well and was on her own, so fair play to her.

After the shake up , cant fault any for the effort , Brown who I've been dissapointed with was very lively , Conteh , who seems to play to the same steady high standards
each game will def be missed. Baggot , not 1st team yet , and Vaughn lots of enthusiasm but looked a bit weak ( possibly because of the opposition ), think in time he'll come
good. Nice to be positive , and roll on Saturday.

Just heard MT’s comments. Very fair. Seems like a good chap.
I was there last night. Once we scored the third I was sure the oppo wouldn’t score.
Someone above said Brown did well last night. Thoroughly agree, he put in a good shift and seemed to get involved a lot. All of them did well last night.
I know Jed got some flak for the first goal but that said as I watched the ball drift across our box I thought one of the three giants at the back would clear it, surely. Perhaps Jed thought the same. I expect he will grab it himself in future. He made some decent saves last night to make up for it.
Conteh and Evans were great last night.

Just got back... From a jittery iFollow.
Didn't really get to see all the match, but it looked like AE pulled a master stroke m o m performance with an assist and sublime goal. That's a couple of good knocks now.
A totally astonishing turn around after being 2-0 down, dead and buried.... and rightly so. Some of our defending is reflective of the children they look like.
I'm sorry Baggot, I've seen nothing to make me think he can handle the 3rd division play yet, similar for Vaughan. Bags rightly subbed, I think MT got the the starting line up wrong again, but credit to change it so quickly. Will he learn for another stern test on Saturday?
Absolutely brilliant play and finishing to bring home a very welcome 3 points, and at same time knocking Stevenage out of the play offs.
Credit to Keeper who again produces some stunning saves.
But from what I could see we ended the match with 8 players as Sincs and Vaughan were just passengers, not much use with Conteh being sent off.
A spark there for the travelling faithful and lovely to see celebrations on the goals in front of them, together with the team.

After all the 'one of our own' chants fans giving Jed Ward flak for one mistake is just pure depressing. MT absolutely right to call for better support.

Wow what a turn around that was. Incredible team performance from 0-2 down and some real much needed grit from some players, even jevanni brown getting stuck in with some great challenges. Never dull being a gashead. UTG Must be some history for brown with Stevenage, they were booing him every time he got the ball? I noticed that 🤔💙

Taylor will know what's going on with Ward, he was a keeper before switching to Centreback at Team Bath. I'm sure he'll be well managed. Mind you we can do better.

Well, I didn't see that coming after 25 minutes. We'd barely been out of our own half at that stage and looked extremely shaky at the back. 2-0 down and it could easily have been 3 or 4.
If someone had offered me 100/1 on a Rovers win at that point I still wouldn't have taken the bet.
Sinclair did okay but I think it was the change of formation and the Thomas goal soon after that made the biggest difference.
Ward had to make a couple of good saves at the start of the second half but we then started to play some really good stuff, scored 2 great goals and Martin was unlucky not to bag another when his goal bound effort was headed off the line.
A bit nervy in the closing stages but defended pretty well and restricted Stevenage to half chances.
Ward's biggest problem is his size. He's good shot stopper but doesn't command his area particularly well. This was evident with the first goal when the ball looped up in the air and he decided to stay on his line. I think he's got to be a little braver in those situations. That said, I like Ward and he made 2 great saves in the second half to keep us in the game.
I'm afraid Elkon Baggott looks like a liability at the moment. Not convinced by him at all. Defence looked a lot better when switching to a 4 after he went off.
Best 2 players for me were Evans and Thomas who both ended with a goal and assist. As did Martin, who also had a good game.
Conteh played well and was a bit unlucky with the sending off. Not too disimilar to a challenge Evans made earlier in the second half which didn't result in a second yellow; much to Steve Evans disappointment.
The whole team played pretty well after Thomas pulled a goal back, but for 28 minutes we were second best all over the pitch. We need to find a way to start games better because we're not going to come from 2 down very often.
I think we'll be sticking with a back 4 for the foreseeable which will hopefully help.
Could be struggling on Saturday though as it sounds like we'll be missing our 7 first choice central midfielders, Rossiter, Finley, Ward, Conteh, Evans McCormick, and Aguilera. Will be interesting to see the starting 11 at Northampton.

Ward isn’t 21 until May and that was his, what, eighth game for us? He is doing pretty well in my book.
