I can’t wait to go there next season with a good side and shut up their fans, bellends today singing they are going to the championship and the a Bristol tractors song Might just be me but, that doesn't sound too inflammatory 🤔 Then theres all of the pitfalls associated with next season.. they've got Derby on 23rd March. Go to that in the away end, and give them a real hard middle fingering perhaps?

Just got back... From an on off iFollow.
Seen the 1st, 3rd & 4th goal....but after 35 mins it decided enough was enough until second half. In all honesty, it done me a favour as it was probably more frustrating watching that pile of drivel.
No midfielders? No defence, morelike... first goal was again atrocious defending reminiscent of relegation season. We seem to not decide to play until the game is almost lost, but there again we are seeing beach players probably in the last embers of their Gas careers....MT post match comments allude to that....why not start some of them in flip flops or crocks? Crocks more apt.
Some shining performances from afar. Really liked Vaughan, lively performance my m o m (!) Why not?
Baggot looking useful, except when he took the shot off of Hunt after that mazy run. Decent assist.
Keeper made some good saves.
Our crossbar played a blinder too.
One thing....nice one, ref!? I never realised a deliberate shirt pull in the pen area was ok? Also....if you stand still minding your own space and a player comes in over and above you and crashes you to the ground - you're the one who's committed the foul!? Absolute numpty.
If it wasn't for CM we'd be in the sh!t....I still tip him to make 20 goals in this very unforgettable season.
At the end of the day, not good enough. Again. MT subs did affect change but we rightly got beat by the better team.
MT says change is in air as unacceptable conceding goals in that fashion. We'll see.
My point is .... If it isn't the right time to blood some of your own now, when is it? Too many senior players aren't turning up.... Wilson Crama Grant poor. Why not mix it up with Connolly back and Lawrence Jones and Greenslade?
I honestly wonder what we would have to lose?

You can't play anyone, at any level of football, without a central midfield and expect not to lose. I personally think there was some good performances there, Brown, Sinclair, Gordon, the lads on loan played OK. But again, a mixture of defensive mistakes and no protection in front of the back four has cost us. If Conteh plays today we don't conceede those goals, they just wouldn't get the time and space. You can't really judge the manager or team that played today, I'd expect that side to lose 99 times out of 100. Stick Evans, Conteh, Finley in there and we win. We ended the game with a midfield of Brown and Conolley!?

Grant and Gordon in the same team means we started off with a double handicap. Has anyone ever seen Gordon pass FORWARD?? I watched him receiving the ball today and as it was coming to him he was already looking to the side and behind him. It's like that's his first thought rather than progress up the pitch. Plenty worse than him today though

On the positive side Harvey Vale was immense in the first half. Vaughan was excellent in the second half but needs some gym work to get more power especially in his shot.Other players were not consistent enough though SS did look dangerous. Not sure what's happened to Wilson who seemed to freeze for their first goal

Just looking at our defensive record we have conceded 48 goals only 4 teams in our division have let in more but our goal scoring record is good with 45 scored 10th highest scores says it all

Well like him or not Brookeman got things spot on today. When asked to score Pace, Physicality and Leadership today out of five. He without hesitation said 2,2 and 1!

They were just on us all game, shirts off, Stone Island brigade, never liked them like Wycombe, it goes deep with them and all started with 3-0 win over Holloway’s side

Wilson is another Max Ehmer, doesn’t really want to here, the later left for money and loved the Gills and Wilson left for a 2 year deal nearer to Newport. I mention this re his non existent leadership

Assuming he wants to continue playing football then Rovers are probably as good as anywhere for him to play.

Lotto tracksuits and gumsheilds. Hang around the ground from 11am and see who wants it. If the OB show up, we just remove the gumsheilds and start jogging around left hand down on 1, right hand down on 2 and head the ball on 3. Inside the ground we can drown them out with: Lotto boys, we are here, Chase your women, drink your beer, 1, 2, 3, then start jumping up and down heading an imaginary ball and grinning to show our gumsheilds.

I mention this re his non existent leadership I’ve watched all our games this season and seen loads of opposition centre backs who are clearly better players than Wilson. At one point today he was slagging off Jed Ward, when quite clearly he should have been slagging himself off for the way he performed. He is one player I would be glad to see the back of, let’s hope MT agrees.
