Just a reminder the meeting with Abdullatif, Matt and Tom Gorringe is being held in the Bristol Room at the Mem on Thursday 29 February at 7.30.
Supporters Club members can secure one of 150 limited tickets for the event by using the link on the SC website until 20 February.
A good chance to ask the questions you would like answered, face to face.

I believe it is a SC event. However if capacity not met, then there may be spaces for non SC members.
Further details are on the SC website.

I believe it is a SC event. However if capacity not met, then there may be spaces for non SC members. Further details are on the SC website. There seems to be a good chance that capacity won't be met if less than 50 spaces have been taken so far? Hopefully the owners won't now back track on allowing non SC members to attend.

I don't think anyone ever said non SC fans can't attend? Everything I have read said the SC members have first dibbs and if 150 of us don't turn up, then non SC members can apply. I would go, but depending on where I am working I not sure I can get there in time. There definitely must be plenty of questions raised this season. Whatever your opinions, it's never dull being a Gashead!(well, off the pitch at least!).

Can someone ask why Josh Grant keeps getting his contract renewed, let alone selected for the team?

Can someone ask why Josh Grant keeps getting his contract renewed, let alone selected for the team? To be fair to him , he’s hardly ever payed in the same position twice in a row. He’s mr versatile but suffers for it . I’m not saying he’s a great player or even saying he should be retained, but he’s hardly been given the chance to show his best position or had a run of games in one set position. All that said….. I’d still let him go ! 😂

As a SC member for many years I only booked my place for the Q&A after reading about it on here. Nothing from the SC notifying me about it? “It’s on social media”. Really?, I’m not. If properly announced I’m sure the 150 (or whatever it is) places would have been snapped up. Doing about as good a job as Mr (Notso) Bright with launching Pirates Pot. Why can’t we seem to get much right these days, on or off the pitch? I hope this actually goes ahead with the Owners, Manager and CEO actually turning up and prepared to answer questions PLUS fans listen to, not ignore answers like some previous meetings. This is a chance to air grievances if handled correctly but not if people start slagging off others like they have been the team lately. That’s why I said ‘fans’ earlier not supporters. UTG!

To be fair, it has been posted on social media, I believe on both the SC and FC sites and there was a bit in Bristol Live. It has been mentioned in the Pirate matchday programme in the SC pages and Lance did a bit on it over the PA at a recent game. I think the carrier pigeons went in the days of Harry Bamford. I suspect the SC thought that tickets were going to be snapped up as people genuinely had questions on all aspects of the club, but they forgot about the apathy!

When have we ever had more than 50 fans or so turn up to an evening AGM or Q&A?
If owners really wanted a decent turnout they why not hold it after a game, they could still operate a ticket only attendance to control numbers?

Plus if we won, we would be going up and if we lost we would be going down 🤣. Normally fans are more level headed, if it's not after a game, emotions are still high for a lot of fans.

Key question for me is:
When will the plans for the stadium be announced?

I am quite annoyed that I am being excluded from this event. I think every season ticket holder should automatically be enrolled in the supporters club if they so wish.

There are 84 tickets remaining for this event as at today and therefore I suspect they'll become generally available as of tomorrow.
Ultimately it is our opportunity as fans to ask questions of the club that people feel should be asked. It's a chance to hold the owners and ceo to account, there's little point in moaning unless you're prepared to try and do something about it!
No one is being 'excluded', it's a BRSC run event and therefore it's only right that BRSC members have first opportunity at tickets, but as I've said above it looks like they'll become generally available as of tomorrow unless there's a late 'rush' today!
Let's see how many are prepared to ask the difficult questions on 29th, I suspect there are a number of people on here and social media who like to hide behind their keyboards and moan, but aren't prepared to put their heads above the parapet and make their feelings known to those who actually run our football club!

I do feel excluded. There will be supporters club members who do not have a season ticket. Season ticket holders should be erolled as a supporters club member automatically (and at no additional charge).

The point is the supporters club is independent of the club - this is a good thing. Yes there is a cost for joining but they must have costs to run the supporters club and I suspect any excess gets used to fund projects related to the football club. The fee for joining is relatively low and at the end of the day there needs to be some benefit to encourage people to join. If they have gone to the trouble of organising this it is fair that their members benefit. Quite hard to get anyone to pay a fee to join a club these days when there are a million groups on things like facebook or forums like this that people can join for free.
