As the penniless tossers went into administration in 1982 it would be jolly nice if the now well heeled upwardly mobile BCFC (1982) Ltd repaid all the local (and numerous other) companies what they were due, plus compound interest of course.A nice little retrospective 10 point deduction should also be applied to this season as well for already mentioned administration offence. That seems reasonable and fair for a marvellously upright pillar of the community entity.
Wos reckon Super?

Most of the members active members of gaschat are 40++. Lots in there 50s ++ we will never be as big as the 82ers we all no that. But I'd love to play them asap in league derbies ๐๐๐๐. They are a totally deluded fanbase in general I love it ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ฌ The last time they were in league one was in 14/15 season, when they easily won the league, their average attendance was 12056, if we had a similar successful campaign, I donโt think we would be too far behind that figure. Where theyโre way ahead of us is their marketing & obviously facilities, hopefully that can begin to change moving forward. Large chunks of their stadium were closed for redevelopment that season.

I would love City to go down but think they will stay up as there are too many teams below them. That said, some of those bottom teams did win on saturday, Stoke, Millwall, QPR and Sheff weds and even Huddersfield got a draw against Leeds. I would also love Plymouth to go down but again I think they will probably scrape home. As for derbies next year, I hope the Grecians stay up, obviously...and Cheltenham. And Oxford? is that a derby?

Shef Weds must be on a decent run of form given how far they were behind, keep that run going and the should stay up. Plymouth and Blackburn are in the worse run of form lately.

Where theyโre way ahead of us is their marketing & obviously facilities, hopefully that can begin to change moving forward. Large chunks of their stadium were closed for redevelopment that season. When City were midtable in League 1 their averages ranged from between 9k-11k, when they were in and around the promotion places finishing 3rd a few times they increased slightly their highest average was 12,789 in 2004. Then in The Championship crowds increased to between 15-16k before it was redeveloped. There's no reason why we couldn't at least equal that in a revamped Mem. The revamped Ashton Gate has seen them double our home gates, but before that their League 1 crowds weren't hugely different to ours now.
