FFS what’s wrong with you man? After all this time Barton is still living rent free in your head! We have all moved on and it’s about time you did pal. Just stating facts to a Barton fan boy 😘 Who’s a Barton fanboy? This place had been toxic and very unpleasant since you and roady (💩🏠) have been acting like the fecking Kray twins! A right pair of school ground bullies, it’s about time you both did us all a favour and fecked off!

Oi let’s all try and get on for fu*ks sake. We all support the same club we all want that club to succeed and we’ve all got our own opinions on how we should go about that and we’re untitled to those opinions. But nobody in here wants to read Gasheads tearing strips off each other in a bitchy way. it devalues what we are about as a fanbase. We just lost to a team with one foot in the promotion door. Be realistic.

We set up very negative today and disappointed with our approach. Deserved what we got in the end and I have no idea what our tactics were. Finlay was pathetic today. Just exposed as someone in over his head. Needs replacing next season. Pretty sad as well to see Hoole as you’d think one of his last rovers game as he’s simply not good enough. When you see derbys right back compared to him is just night and day. I thought Hoole for a player who should be far "more rusty" than Finley had a good game against one of the best wingers in the league Don’t agree ref Hoole. Him and Sinclair were a disaster waiting to happen all game. Constantly caught up the pitch and Derby knew it and played for it. The second goal a perfect example of what happen several times. Taylor having to rush across as last man to try and get to Mendez Lang with Hoole and Sinclair nowhere to be seen. Finley improved as the game went on but had a very poor game as did Evans.

Derby were far better than us today but they will struggle in the championship next season if they go up. I can see them being a yo yo side like Rotherham are. Their a fantastic club steeped in history but I see them being a Wednesday.

On the train home reading the usual nonsense from people who already have their minds made up
Hoole and Gordon (plus baggot and Taylor) were decent today. We lost cos of Finley, Evans , Martin, the ref and cos Derby were miles better. Take a day off.

A few more thoughts ref today’s game. Derby clearly set up from the start to get down the sides with one wideman on each side hugging the touchline. For some reason we set up to cover the middle third of the pitch with the result our fullbacks were 40 yards away from their wide men when they received the ball. Time and time again the crosses were played across our area without any challenge. With better finishing it could have easily been six or seven. We totally lacked any creativity and Martin had hardly any service. Finley, Sinclair, Vale and Evans were very poor apart from one or two flashes after we went two down. And then just as I said to my mate Baggott has had a great game, he passed the ball into midfield on the left straight to their man and a couple of seconds later we were three down. Thought Conteh was excellent yet again and Brown when he came on showed some very nice touches, Taylor put in a decent shift, Gordon clearly tried his best, but can’t see him as the answer at left back. Thought Ward looked very shaky today, coming for and missing a number of crosses although not helped by our inability to deal with long throw ins and crosses arrived across the six yard box or closer in. At the other end taking out Martin, we don’t seem to have anyone who can win a header or even get near to the opposition centrehalf, who could have played in armchairs for all the lack of pressure put on them. Three away games coming up, but not very confident of winning any points from them.

Derby were by far the best team we’ve seen at the Mem this season IMO. The scoreline flattered them and whilst they’re a league apart (and certainly will be next season) from us I don’t feel we did that badly today. We were beaten by a team who should have no place in League One next season.
Nothing to get worked up about it should simply be a lesson in where we need to get to next season and a learning experience for some of our younger players.
Up until the first goal we were holding our own.

He rarely makes a forward pass, stuck on train tracks and can’t use his right foot. Continually week in week out targeted by the opposition, rarely does a Lee Brown over lap and whips on a cross, can you ever remember a Gordon assist or goal? Today the first goal, from the corner he clears straight to the bloke on the edge of the box. He simply isn’t good enough and I bet he’s playing Div2 football next season.

Men against boys, but shows what we need more pace, and to be stronger in and out of possession, passing was off today, hopefully we are drawing up a list of potential targets ready to be proactive.
Fans goading each other in the south stand, what's that all about, frankly embarrassing, some looking at their age should know better.

We will win on Tuesday.Fleetwood had a red card today and would hope we will be too good for them .Our lack of pace and lack of scoring options if CM is kept quiet are a worry but confident we'll do well.Port Vale were awful today so reckon the points are up for grabs in coming games.

We were fortunate to go in at half-time 0-0. Our formation allowed them width via wing-backs and too many crosses into the box. Surely we knew how they would play, so that was 45 minutes wasted on the back-foot. We had one shot all half. I thought Hoole, Baggott and Taylor did OK in first half.
Second half. Bang Bang all over. What is so evident is how little pace there is in this team. There is no pace up front and no-one runs beyond the midfield. Finley slowed the game down, gave the ball away. Conteh was one, dimensional in his passing. Evans was sloppy.
Ward did not impress me. Looked weak under pressure and a top keeper would have saved the second.
Baggott, despite give away for third goal, formed a good partnership with Taylor.
Overall, we look average at best and it will take at least 2 seasons to build a challenging team.
Today was useful as it showed how far we are behind the best sides. Derby were well organised, had a method, pace and power. 3-0 was fair.
Matt Taylor is no fool and he knows that we are miles away.

Fans being successful in their own lives has no bearing whatsoever on the club they support, it's totally disconnected, if it then wasn't most of us would be living on the bread line or even on the streets! Rovers success is solely down to the owners and the managers etc they appoint. I agree. Absolutely spot on, although I think positive atmosphere from fans helps success. I went on a rant there. It won’t happen again. 😆 A rant is good sometimes rich 👍🤗💙

We’re crying out for pace and strength in our team. Conteh was exactly what we needed in midfield , very good signing but out wide we’ve got full backs that are average league 1 players in hoole and Gordon , that’s not knocking them we are mid table so they’re par for our course this season but to push in to the top 6 next season we need better and we need pace and movement up front also. Up front Martin has been brilliant but obviously that it won’t last and we’ve got no pace up front either side of him either. In the summer we need to sign 2 or 3 quick wide attacking players.- release Sinclair 1 or 2 strikers release - Marquis A left back who Gordon would be back up to. A right back who hoole would be back up to I rate hunt but his best days are gone and constantly injured. A centre half who’s good enough but not on his last legs to partner Connor. Another Finley type in midfield but younger like the conteh signing full of energy but more creative. Obviously loans in other key areas as well. With everyone fit the squad this season we would be pushing for top 6 but Barton signed aging players who have missed large parts at key times which is why we’re mid table.

Been home a few hours now and chance to reflect on a game I had been looking forward to all week.
Best team won today … Derby were excellent all over the pitch and every one of their players won their individual battle today.
We on the other hand were pretty poor, clunky, devoid of ideas and too many really not in the game.
Ward … 4 - poor today never commanded his area all game but is being coached by someone who was equally poor at crosses etc … needs looking at if he is going to improve. Jaakkola will ruin him. Distribution way too slow at times .
Hoole …5 - Not good enough at L1 level. Knew he would struggle as soon as the team was announced
Taylor … 6 - Did little wrong but part of a unit that has conceded three goals today
Baggott …6 - Made one error that Derby scored from . I would be looking to sign him for next season
Gibson ..4 - Just a really poor game from him today - one step forward two back with him.
Finley ..5 - Too many missed passes and spent more time arguing with the ref and Hourihane than leading the team.
Evan’s .. 5 Another poor game only this time no free kick assist .. most corners and free kicks didn’t get past the first defender.
Conteh ..7 Excellent first half but had to hold back more as the game went on after being booked.
Vale .. 4 Worst I have seen from him, clueless at times and added little
Sinclair .. 4 - Spent more time in his car before the game on his phone than he did making anything positive on the pitch
Martin ..5 Totally beaten up today either by the superb and huge Derby skipper or one of his henchman
Nothing of any value from subs today.
Gasheads .. 5 - First time in a long time the away support has so massively outsang and supported better their team. South stand too excited about a fictional ruck were embarrassing. Nowhere to be seen when Derby were vocally strutting through the car park.
Matt Taylor ..5 - Hampered by yet another training ground injury this week … well into double figures for the season . Summer window is so vital.
Derby FC … I thought they were excellent , really looked up for the game even when warming up and some of their individual performances were excellent. More energy and effort all over the pitch.
Ref and team …, Ref was poor and always is , strange decisions all day. Lino on the East side was excellent , Lino on the west side was the worst I have ever witnessed - not up with play, missed the offside for the second goal and got most throw ins wrong.
Overall … We deserved what we ended up with today - zero points and again more questions about the desire, will and ability of a large number of the group.
