A thread for all things international this weekend Wales v Finland play off tonight and then Luca hopefully starting for the U21's tomorrow (live on S4C online) Are we all supporting Finland then? One because we don’t want the other home nations to have any success (replicating their thoughts towards England) and two, Finland are “one of our own” after basing themselves at The Quarters 😁

Thus sending them packing out of a World Cup. In all honesty they’ll skip by Finland with ease but Poland might not be such an easy task in a Play Off Final. Will have more interest in the fortunes of Luxembourg, fully behind those lads to go all the way and make it to Germany.

Very difficult trying to cheer on Wales after long memories of Cardiff police,Swansea away and getting threatened at merthyr as a teenager, plus they enjoyed us losing to Iceland I recall. I did support them in the last euros due to arron ramsey but can't say I'll lose any sleep if they fail.

I prefer to call this weekend " Non League weekend " Quite right! I shall be headed to Poole Town, who are currently going through a pathetic run having lost 7 of the last 8 Can they turn this around? Will the hardy 458 fans be treated to a classic? I’ll be there as usual in my Rovers top and scarf, sometimes I pretend I’m a scout looking at the opposition number 4 Nothing beats the hardy folk who travel watching this level Basingstoke had amazing support a few weeks back on a wet Tuesday night! Remarkable! UTG UP THE DOLPHINS!

Got my ticket for England Vs Brazil! Finally a friendly I’m looking forward to, can’t wait! I went to the same fixture in 1995. John Scales versus Large Ronaldo !!

Watching the Wales v Finland game on S4C ….. gotta admit I’m struggling with the commentary here ! Quick question, do the Welsh fans ever sing a song in Welsh language?

Fair play to Wales , think they’ll struggle against Poland though.

How was the home team for the next game decided? The semi-finals had the higher ranked team (rankings from the Nations League) playing at home, but the home team for the final was drawn at random - whoever won from Wales v Finland would be at home, same for the other three sets of semi-finalists (but excluding Ukraine who will obviously be at 'home' at a neutral location after they won their semi-final).

I also enjoy watching them as they’re usually underdogs and generally show a lot of fighting spirit.
