Are we all supporting Finland then? One because we don’t want the other home nations to have any success (replicating their thoughts towards England) and two, Finland are “one of our own” after basing themselves at The Quarters 😁 My wife and all her family are welsh, our daughters half welsh and our second home is in the Gower, we spend as much time in wales in the summer months as Bristol so I’ve got to admit Wales have become a bit of a second team for me. I also enjoy watching them as they’re usually underdogs and generally show a lot of fighting spirit. I had always rooted for the Welsh international side for as long as I remember. But I can pretty much pinpoint the exact moment that fondness faded.... Now I feel the same about them as I do about the Welsh Rugby team and always support the team they are playing against  |

Reached the semis and still got dominated & defeated in that tournament by one of the worst England sides in recent history. |

Three games today / tonight which involves GAS players . Luca Hoole playing at CH (wales under 21). England (under 21) won 5-1 Cox wasn't involved in the 18 man squad.
Additionally England (under 20) 1-0 up half time. Jed Ward not included in 18 man squad.

Used to feel the same about Scotland until Hollywood and politics spoilt it. 🙄 |

I'm Bristololian with Irish blood in me... Growing up lots of my friends has polish Irish Italian greek etc blood in them either parents or grandparents. They generally supported the nationals teams from their parents and grandparents blood line in sporting events. But we're still English and proud. This country is a mix of many cultures and religions and I'm the son of a immigrant and understand the complexities. Always Interesting to hear others points of views and experiences

England v Brasil is always a tasty tie even if it’s a friendly.
