Not much about the Welsh exit I notice👀😂 They were faraway the best team on the night and the Polish keeper saved them on a number of occasions, in contrast the Welsh keeper did not have to make a save all night and couldn’t even make one in the shootout. At least he smiled after failing to save each one |

Wales were much the better team and the only thing wrong he did on the night was not save that pen. Poland will get beat by every team in that group but playing their game may get one win or draw. If it had been Wales that qualified they would have tried in each game. |

The better each British team does in these competitions the stronger our leagues and teams become. Probably hard to prove but had Wales qualified I expect their national league would have benefitted in many ways, not least financially. I know that on the night emotions sometimes get the better of fans but in the cold light of day it would have been good for Wales to qualify. Especially as they draw many/most of their players from the EFL.

In the end I tend to take an unemotional pov in a game which is full of emotion/ likes/dislikes/love/hatred. As was said on here a few weeks ago, I hate teams that waste time when they’re leading 1-0 against us. When we’re leading 1-0 I don’t seem to get so angry!! Strange eh? 🤔 UTG! |

Just need a CB to step up KW is clearly a better right back (in the traditional sense) and has the pace to cover others but a shame that a generational talent like TAA will end up like Hoddle, Gazza, Bowles, Le Tissier and many others that don’t get the number of caps their talent deserved. |

This is what I’d do foden is much better as a 10 and Bellingham and rice can dominate midfield, gordan looked good on the left against Brazil. It’s a shame Southgate doesn’t rate tomori as he could easily slot in cb |

That is what I’d be doing in a 4-2-3-1. Bellingham has done a great job at 10 for Madrid and with their players that is how they feel they can get the best out of him, however he is massively effective at 8 which is where he made his name at Dortmund. He’s an amazing athlete, very mature with a good football brain and can boss a game as a box to box midfielder. Apart from when we play the very elite teams we tend to play the game in the opposition half during most games so it’s not as if moving him from 10 to 8 is going to waste his talents. |

As for Poland, they changed coach after the qualifiers proper and put out some youngsters. I think you may be surprised when the tournament starts but, as always, I could be wrong. At least they did not play sideways and backwards and the pens were all well taken, I do think Lewandowski took the urine though. Try and let it go over your head. I do not mean to be patronising in writing this but you sound waspishly angry |
