I think whatever happens from this point forward, MT will get the summer transfer window. If we don’t start like a train next season, I can’t see him keeping the support of many. It doesn’t happen often where a manager regains faith after losing it.
It has been dire since he took the job. It wasn’t great before but I think we are worse now.
MT will certainly be arguing that he needs a fair crack at it with his own players and tend to agree with that.

The squad he inherited is totally unbalanced - it will be trimmed massively and he will rebalance.

Was it great today, no, but we created at least 4 good chances and most would have put money on Martin scoring one of his. Taylor cant put the ball in the net for them.
We need some pace in the team. Thomas energy was noticeable when he game on and we need more of that added to the squad in the summer

We showed fight passion passed it well and prob deserved to win (v the top team this season away from home) that today was night and day compared to that against an extremely poor side. Taylor mentioned again today that it’s a step forward but I just can’t see it. Also the flocks of fans returning now joey is gone? Was that a myth? Quietest I’ve heard the mem today. |

Can't blame the gaffer, part of the reason any manager gets sent on gardening leave is the players, it's them the cross the white line, so one manager loses his job and another comes in and works with the same players. If it's still crap, who or what is the common denominator?
I'll take a couple of windows to sort this mess out.
Let's hope the recruitment and scouting are getting stuck into their jobs.
