Transfer Window closes one week today. So pleased we didn't go through with the Clarke Harris transfer last time due allegedly to bodged paper work but hope perhaps Brown can be off loaded. Not one of JB's better decisions!!!Suspect Ellison will go out on loan. To be fair I think most of us welcomed the signing of Jevani. When MT was appointed, I thought at least we may see the version of him we saw against us for Exeter, but for whatever reason he's been a flop. Crazy how the one player MT has totally frozen out, was the main reason he got success at Exeter and earned him a Championship move.

torquayunited.com/jadyn-crosbie-heads-to-plainmoor/Strange one this. Scored 37 in 48 for mangotsfield last season and got snapped up by Torquay in June. Now just signed for calgari in serie a!!!! Seems another local striker we've missed the boat on. Anyone seen him play? Edit. It was a other mangos 16 year old that moved to Calgary jack nunn. Wonder if we watched either players before their moves?

Lincoln City have signed wide player Erik Ring from AIK Stockholm on a four-year contract.
The Sweden Under-21 international has made the move from his boyhood club for an undisclosed fee to become the Imps' 11th summer transfer window signing.

Don't know if we had him watched, but I did try to pass Nunn's name on to someone at the club a few months before Cagliari spotted him at the Roma Caput Mundi tournament.

It’s an interesting one. Discussed his future with his manager and they both announced that a new challenge would benefit him early in the window. I thought that would be the precursor to an early relocation for him but still nothing concrete as we reach the last knockings. I suspect several clubs in the championship have spoken to his representatives since but presumably they don’t really appeal and if he’s to return to English football he’s looking for a struggling PL club to come in this week Saints, Everton or Palace would all be improved by his addition. Of course the other possibility is that the new challenge he wants is a chance to play on the continent where several players have revived stagnant careers over the years.

Todd Cantwell is training with the Rangers B team having let Rangers know more than a month ago that he wants to leave Scotland. Still no interest reported. I would guess a loan to top of League 1 / bottom of Championship or abroad would seem mostly likely.

Laughed at Kite being there! Thought we'd go Guinness-Walker ahead of Mola (pleased we didnt), but could be an option for LB/LWB cover?

Noticed three-time League One winner Max Power now a free agent.

Wasn't the rumour that he was on 25k a week there? 👀 Very sad if he chooses cash over a football career at his age Yes, it’s an odd one. But if the Saudis are offering him a contract in excess of £25k then it would take something to turn it down. Wouldn’t it? Silly money that would secure his future must be very tempting. Vale is at an age when I’d say he needed to be playing in this country to progress his career but I’m probably looking at it from a purist pov. And he’s young enough, perhaps, to be able to see the Saudi league become part of the mainstream football world where you transfer in and transfer out at the end of contracts. UTG!

Not on that list, but a free agent worth considering on a short-term deal would be Ovie Ejaria. Obviously injuries have held him back, but a short-term deal gives him the chance to prove his fitness, put himself in the shop widow and give us time to consider our options approaching January. Was linked with Sheffield Wednesday back in May, but nothing came of it: x.com/AnalyticsOwls/status/1795519716007776328

I don’t think we will see any movement with incomings but if we do you’d like to think it’d be CF in a different mould to Omochere / Martin.
The following forwards have not been involved with their respective clubs games and would be top loan signings at L1:
Niall Ennis - Stoke City Joe Taylor - Luton Town Fabio Tavares - Coventry City Ben Waine - Plymouth Argyle
