Fleetwood Town signing Jake Young from Bradford. I think he could’ve been a decent pick up for us, different type of forward to what we’ve already got…..

Getting the impression it’ll all happen tomorrow if anything at all. The lack of rumours suggests we are sticking with what we’ve got. A lot happens on the final day of the window. I expect we will bring in someone, even if we settle for a young loan player.

Stephen Humphrys is probably not an option, reportedly Wrexham may make a move if they fail to sign Will Keane from Preston.

Have we learnt from last season. The transfer rumours have gone quiet. Are we in danger of repeating the same mistake of not bringing in a goal scorer.

Martin out for months.
We need TWO forwards in by the end of the window.

Martin out for months. We need TWO forwards in by the end of the window. At a minimum two attacking players. Even if it's a striker and then a number 10, someone like Callum Wright. Then we can go 1 up front when needed, with 2 attacking midfielders in behind.

Martin being out puts in a really bad position.
Unfortunately for the owners, likely will have to spend some money to bring in a decent player. Time for George Friend to earn his money, hopefully has a list of strikers.

Does anyone know how many of our 52 goals last season were either scored or created by Collins, Evans, and Martin?
Martin was the only natural finisher in the squad and he averaged nearly 1 in 2 last season, so it's a big blow.
The only good news is that this happened now and not on Saturday when it would be too late to sign a replacement.
Like others have said, we really need 2 attacking players in now.

Current loanees:
Josh Griffiths Michael Forbes Jake Garrett Lino Sousa
Means we have three spaces.
I think we’ll cover all three tomorrow.

x.com/DanJHargraves/status/1829163784025538841?s=19On the back of the Chris Martin news, Matt Taylor also confirmed the club feels a signing is close. Did also admit they’ve been looking to sign another striker so hoping the two complement one another and they have another figure up top in before Saturday. #UTG

Let’s be realistic, the club should be replacing 35-year-old Martin anyway!

Let’s be realistic, the club should be replacing 35-year-old Martin anyway! the time to do that was at the end of last season in not exercising our option to extend by a year, a player who is probably our highest earner, but we didn't and need to treat him as our January signing made early

Waghorn (former Derby striker) was a target on a free but has agreed to sign for a L2 side.

I still think Mo Eisa would be a good addition to our current set up, offers a different type of play style.
