I still think Mo Eisa would be a good addition to our current set up, offers a different type of play style. I don't think he's going to be the answer to our problems. IMO |

Bristol Live reporting we’ve made ‘several’ enquiries to sign Joe Taylor from Luton, on loan. His move to Huddersfield has fallen through. Would be very happy with this if we can pull it off. A different type of striker to what we have and won the golden boot for Lincoln last season despite only joining them on loan in January after scoring 10 goals in 19 games (including a hat trick against us but we will gloss over that…). He might be young but with those stats plus a L1 player of the month accolade to his name, he’s clearly got something about him. |

Waghorn (former Derby striker) was a target on a free but has agreed to sign for a L2 side. I'm hearing he's a transfer target for our opponents on Saturday. Did well in his appearances at this level last season.  |

Taken from their live deadline day blog: "Luton striker Joe Taylor will be on the move somewhere today. He was set to join Huddersfield Town but, according to Alan Nixon, they seem to be delaying slightly as they would prefer a permanent signing rather than a loan. Rovers are understood to have made several enquiries earlier in the summer." It seems our interest may have been earlier in the summer though and may not be something we are looking to do today. |

And having signed Gatlin now we have 5 loans meaning if we loaned anyone else in one of them will miss out on the matchday squad. So it's probably permanent signings only, if any. |
