Max Alleyne worth a poke? Father working back in BS7, Rovers have a good history with developing PL players in the last few years. Would have thought this may be on the radar anyway. Even when Mark was working away the family have stayed local.

Is anyone else a little underwhelmed with what is available so far on the retained lists? Even players like Azeez at Reading have had year options activated, when it looked like publicly they were coming to the end of contract.

There does seem to be a lot less quality players that are out of contract this season. Clubs most be giving out longer contacts now?? It does mean that clubs might be stuck with a lot of players though. Like we are with Wilson. Which is why we will probably need to pay some transfer fees during the summer to compete. A big summer ahead. Will we finally break our transfer record?? Or will the new owners be all talk?? We need to have learnt from our mistakes and the owners need to be on the same page.

Shayne Lavery being released by Blackpool, 25 year old Northern Ireland International striker. 5 goals in 31 appearances this season, mostly from the bench. Definite potential, but injury prone - wouldn't surprise me to see us linked.

If Evans leaves, plus we haven't replaced Collins, that's the best part of 15 goals and 15 assists we need to find just to match this season. We are going to need to sign a minimum of three strikers and at least one attack minded midfielder.

Joe Morrell probably leaving Pompey
He's an annoying barsteward, but like a lot of those annoying players you would rather have them than play against them.

Id take him for sure, you just have to accept he is likely to get stupid bookings and sending offs. Wrexham might want a Wales international in their team though...

With Martin, hopefully an improved Brown, plus Sinclair and Thomas chipping in.

I see Lincoln are now looking at Scandinavia for players now that a lot of clubs are scouting Irish players

Looking at our squad, I think we need a minimum of:
1x GK 6x defenders 3x midfielders 2x wingers 2x forwards

Two or three over in Iceland too. gaschat.co.uk/post/1011584

I cant see Rossiter getting a better offer anywhere else given his injury record. From the outside looking in I cant see many taking that risk. Maybe he will accept a lower wage from someone around the north west?

No surprise he is considering his options. Would be a bit annoying to get him 'fit' only for him to waltz off to somewhere else. I cant see him having anywhere near a full season though

Stinks of a Tareiq Holmes-Dennis, Garry Kenneth, Adam Virgo, Jamie Shore etc etc etc "He'll be great when he's fit" as he drags around mangled legs for a further 2 years and 12 appearances.
