Shame we couldn't attract him to invest in us, as a Swede, his expertise in flat packed furniture would have been handy for our new stands.

Well as there is absolutely naff all you , I or anyone else can do about it ( unless you have multiple millions to invest?) , are you going to keep on bitching from the sidelines about our club whilst singing the praises of others for months & months on end ? It’s just it gets a bit boring after a while. Folk can have opinions. It's a forum. I know , that’s why I posted mine . 🙄

Sam Nombe has been told that he is not required at Rotherham. Maybe a signing in the pipeline?

Wait a few years before saying this🤣 At least the fans of Wycombe and Burton can see the pedigree of their new owners and board members. Serious players. A club in one of the biggest cities like us should attract significant interest, but unfortunately for us, serious owners won't want Wael lurking in background clinging on to his 40%, or whatever it is. Isn't the Burton chairman staying on as chairman?? So that's not saying they want to do it as themselves and don't want help from past owners. Shrewsbury fans said they wanted to buy them, but offered 20% less than the going rate and said they had to decide within 24 hours. Nobody knows what they are going to spend, or what they are going to be like. At least give them a few weeks, before saying they are better than we have. We could do better, but we could also do a not worse. There is probably a reason why they spent for years trying to buy a club.

Robinson Snr has stepped aside but his son Ben Jnr and Fleur will continue working for the club. I think it's very different keeping a family with nearly 40 years of experience within one club at different levels and what's happened with Rovers. That said as ever I always worry about new owners at any club. Hopefully they ensure first and foremost there's a Burton Albion for many years to come.

If you are willing to work with the past owner and get on during negotiations, then it doesn't matter how long the past owner has been there. How they have got on since the takeover, is one of our main problems. But it's still early days.

i'll take Nombe, he was a million pound player not too long ago. Its probably wearing red that makes him look fat and awful, red is such a horrible colour, not a big fan of anyone that wears red.

Still not sure I can forgive Jevani Brown for his ear-cupping celebration at the Thatcher's end.

If we could get Nombe then it might be a good idea to keep Jevani Brown as they were brilliant together. I dont see any point in letting any of our remaining players go at least until we have seen the sort of players we are going to sign. A case of better the devil you know.

Kinda feels like Jevani has been mocking us ever since. Where is that player that was so good for Exeter? I know a few Exeter fans and one of them has him down as his favourite ever player.

A fit Sam Nombe would be a terrific signing - MT is a huge fan and I am very confident we will be watching how things develop here.Needs a big pre season - no good getting him too late.
Interesting how much Brown was involved as well - maybe we will see the real Jevani if his pal joins us.
