I'd be surprised now if Sinclair didn't sign, the goalie less, so but given he's previously played for MT then hopefully that's a good sign he'll also sign. Sad things is that due to the lack of news or even rumour so far we are getting excited about Sinclair signing a new deal - No way is he good enough and unless there is a radical uplift in player quality we will be right in the relegation mix next season. Our relegation rivals are already strengthening and spending money to do so. All that said I am hopeful of positive news next week ... He's good enough to be a decent squad player at this level, bringing vital experience. I don't think he will be a regular starter anymore, so hopefully his contact reflected that.

Agree with that D ....

Stockport signing Callum Connolly is a top deal. Their recruitment under the DoF Simon Davies has been very good.

Stockport signing Callum Connolly is a top deal. He couldn't get a game during the 2nd half of last season. Was there a reason, or is he out of form??

"It probably felt like the natural end of the defender's time in Tangerine. He had mainly been used as a squad option throughout the last season, and only managed one league outing from the end of January onwards"

Peterborough seems like they've won the battle for Chris Conn-Clarke from Altrincham. Rumoured £350k transfer.

It is 30 miles between the two clubs. Guess that we would need to offer more, both to cover cost of moving as well as cost of living. Also having been at Burton for three years and 31 years old, he may have put down some roots in the area and has an eye on post playing career

imagine having a transfer policy that requires us to sign the right types of players that are right for the club and not just any half decent injury prone has-been looking for a last pay day. Setting a strategic direction instead of the random whos avaliable types, surely thats what we all want?
Reality check, the has beans are turning us down as we're not offering enough and like every manager we've had in recent memory we're dependant on signing players we've the manager has had before

What is that old saying again? “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”
