Finley was on 4,500 a week😱 More Gaschat nonsense just like the suggestions that the playing budget was being cut by 25% and that no players were prepared to sign for us. What do you hope to gain by posting such nonsense? Finley signed for us in L2 so there's no way we were paying in more than £3K a week even if we offered him top L2 money. To be fair, I had heard from a good source that the wage budget was being cut. The majority of players we have signed, are for the future and we would have paid slightly less, as we gave out long deals. Players like Collins and Finley would probably have been on more money per week. |

Reading still seem to have their problems, so realistically, how much do you think it would cost to sign Sam Smith and / or Harvey Knibbs?
We were supposedly going to pay £800k for JCH, rising to £1.2M. We sold Collins for £750k, and Evan's may go for £500k+.
I very much doubt we'd pay it, but do you think a bid of around £1M for both would be enough?
What do we think they're worth?

Their ladies team have pulled out of the championship and will now be playing in the 5th tier as they could not afford to play at that level and did not want to lose the team. They are really in trouble and just hanging on, so you never know. |
