Well if true, the new owners smashed our 30 odd year transfer record (addressing one of the negatives on the other thread)!
Fleetwood fans seem to think although very promising (sorry) his finishing is not yet up to scratch, will bring pace and power (yay finally!!) but hopefully Martin can help him learn some tricks.

Korey Smith, the ex Ted, has signed for Cambridge. I know a couple on here were saying he could be a potential signing for us. Also signed experienced midfielder Gary Gardner yesterday. Good pick-up that. Never played below Championship level

Fair play the recruitment is looking promising. Bit of ambition shown there too.

Who are Football Insider? Are they credible? Yes very, usually. Confirmed our signing of Lindsay before the Bristol Post. I am not doubting the fee may well be £500k but that’s an increase on our bid from Monday/last week or so I’m told. Mate you're clueless on everything this summer, never even spoke to Kite and your sources said it was done

Haven't had striker in this age bracket for a while on a permanent...
However good he proves its nice that'll we'll reap the awards of any improvement. Rather than return to his parent club.

This squad is shaping up quite nicely for the new season and am liking the permanent signings, we cant build a squad on loans.
And lets not bother with trying to bring Coburn back. I know some rate him but all I saw was a big striker falling over at the first opportunity with little pace and a dreadful eye for goal. If he could actually learn to front it out with centre backs, he would be twice the player

I think an out and out centre forward now, assuming we have Promise that plays across the frontline. Coburn on loan for example.

Wasn’t he just 19 when he joined us for his first experience of regular, first team men’s football? Scored double figures for us and in a limited number of starts for M’Boro last year still scored 5 championship goals. Plenty of room to develop further and shouldn’t be written off - he’ll have a very good career I’m sure.

During his time with us he was in the top 81.8% percentile ranking for duels won per 90 and in the top 83.8% percentile ranking for aerial duels won. Also in the top 73.7% percentile ranking for fouls won. Non-penalty expected goals xG? In the top 86.9% percentile ranking.

At first I thought he was getting little protection from refs and on occasions he did have calls go against him but for me, a clone of Gaffney. He probably will mature and maybe have a good career, i thought the same about McBurnie and he has played at the top level! So what do I know!

I think we will shortly be 1 signing away from our first choice 11. Sotiriou, Taylor, Ward, Thomas, Hunt, Sinclair etc may have something to say but......
------------Griffiths
--Moore---Forbes---Mola
Senior-Conteh-Lindsay-Bilongo
---Omochere---Hutchinson
------NEW/Martin
