Ned to act quickly next season, if form is poor first 5 games then we need to get rid of current manager. Let’s hope he can have a good summer of recruitment but I’m not convinced. Great move that will be after he's spent all summer getting his own players in, the owners really need to decide now whether to stick or twist, not early next season. |

Let’s then do a Cheltenham then huh! Had DC been brought in quicker they’d have stayed up. Great move that would be 👍. Taylor has had long enough to show his potential so the get out of jail free card has ran out now and the real business starts first game of next season. |

Today summed up our season … players walking around, not challenging, just no real bite or effort.
Bottom half finish ….
Ward 8 … Stand out performance kept it to two. Will not be surprised if he is gone next season.
Hoole 5 … Passing was poor - caught out a few times
Wilson 4 … One stand out clearance off the line , rest of the game was a passenger again
Baggott 5… Looked weak and was bullied throughout.
Vale 6 … Did well -bet he is delighted to be on his way tonight. Will star in the Championship being played in the right position.
Rossiter 5 … Not as good as he has been in the last few games.
Evans 5 … Chewing gum throughout made me smile - did very little
Aguillera4 … did absolutely nothing
Thomas .5 … Little positive
Sinclair 5… Very little input
Brown 2 … if I never see him in the Quarters again I will be delighted.
Subs ..
Connolly 4 … Not a L1 defender - hopefully will be gone this summer
Conteh 5 … Did very little
Others not on long enough .. BUT Kofi Shaw did more in 10 minutes than Brown did in 80 minutes
I was impressed that Wigan kept pushing but we made it very easy for them.

If Cheltenham can keep DC for next season, they might pass us on their way back up. Think this is the first time I've not felt disappointed that we don't have a game next week - it feels like a get out of jail free card, not to have to endure any more of that dross.
Hopefully some new faces, and fresh legs to lift the spirits before August comes around.

Got to be honest, gave up watching when Wigan scored their 2nd, decided to paint a wall and watch it dry 👀. I fear for us next season, at this moment in time I would not bet against getting relegated, but as always, will hope for more and as stated prior, will be picking and choosing what games we can be bothered to suffer next season 🙄. UTFG!!!

There’s children’s plastic safety scissors with more cutting edge than Rovers. I really do never want to see Wilson or Brown in a Rovers shirt again. Beyond awful. Jed the absolute standout in a pitiful team performance.
And when did we have so many whopper cokeheads in our away support?

Well that was poor. I’m actually glad the season is over and we can build for the next one. It’s been turgid for too long and many of the players need a new challenge. Let’s hope for a good transfer window and the team to be raring to go in August.

Lot of work to be done, next season starts now for MT and his team? , my opinion the stand out problem, is the lack of pace in the team, part from a few exceptions, MT make it your team on that you will be judged, and enquire why so many gets niggling injuries.?
