Is it possible to stop being so disrespectful to other people?
By all means discuss the pros and cons of certain appointments or whatever, but the level of personal insult is off putting.

You've articulated my opinions pretty much. I've got my ST for nxt season, but I wonder if it may be my last. Me too. I can`t face any more of the dross that the team served up since the end of January. I’ve not renewed for next season. I’ve rarely enjoyed watching a home game during the past 6 months and don’t have much faith that next season will be any better. I will probably pay on the day for the first few games - f I’m entertained and optimistic about the direction MT is taking us I’ll probably carry on match by match. If it continues to be as crap as it’s been in recent months I’ll probably spend more time on the golf course instead. |

Thing is.....if we got promoted, we would be the next Rotherham. Floundering around, looking in the basement bargain bins in front of diminishing crowds as we lose a lot of matches. Our only chance of survival would be to go full on GC, and grind out points every week. Only for it to ultimately fail and we come back down.
Sheffield Weds are one match from survival/relegation, what chance would we have?
MT has to mould his own team. I believe will be stronger and more robust.

im usually at odds with Pirate but im 100% behind him this time. I didnt actually think there was much wrong with JB football/squad wise. We were on the right path, with the style of football, gates improving and getting some exciting players, it wasnt a perfect team but it was getting much better. It was just his off field problems that were the issue. JB got his mates in (scouse mafia et al)and was slated MT is doing exactly the same, lets see how that works out this time because personally i've not got a good feeling. Im just so disappointed in that football is massively about contacts and we appear to get managers and staff that have zero. It feels like Sunday league having a ring round before the match to see if anyone knows anyone. We'll have a team of Exeter players who are no better than what we have now. We need to gamble more take more risks and get some excitement in the club. Is it not such a bad thing to get some Exeter players in. They finished above in the league with some impressive performances and we have struggled against them in recent encounters. For a fan owned club their finances are in better shape than ours and they have made significant improvements to their ground. They even built a successful ladies team. I would see Exeter as an example would should follow. Wouldn't it be fun if we the fans owned Rovers? Some can t play nicely on here, 😂 imagine trying to sign somebody we would never all agree, it would be carnage! We would go through managers every month! |

Oh dear, so lots agree with Pirates ridiculous over reaction that our current manager is a "Fraud" and has been a "disaster". Get a grip.
He may be successful (unlikely statistically, we have only had 4 or 5 of those ever), he may be sacked before Christmas. Who knows.
Some need to calm down. He isnt going anywhere yet, deserves a chance to build his team and I am afraid to say mid table will be a success.
I am worried too, dont get me wrong, there is so much needs doing and we seem to continually make misteps, but why some feel the need to smash out negative post after negative post I have no idea.
