Because he's had it in for him, since he was linked with the club and hasn't given him a chance. Even though he was Ben Garners biggest fan ๐. And you haven't taken your tongue out his ring piece since he was linked ๐ Sometimes wonder if the club pay you to post your blue tinted happy clap drivel. ๐ I could see he would be out of his depth and so it has proved. At Rotherham it was more than 2 goals a game conceded and a pathetic 15 scored in 16 games. But even they didn't break records for consecutive games without scoring, although here it was 'only' the 1.8 goals conceded a game. Nice diversionary tactics, but the fact is your boy Taylor is painfully out of his depth and somehow managed to make things worse after the woeful Barton regime. Bring Back Barton i say

Howโs Mr Cardboard doing so far? Do you all have confidence in his abilities to build a new progressive Bristol Rovers? Not really, but got to give him a go with his own squad ๐UTG

Great, let him build a squad and give him 6 games. Genius. ๐ ๐คฃ Pirate whilst I enjoy your posting bar the videos of players which blows up my phone, ๐ we cannot be another Watford they turn over so many managers, and look at Rob Edwards sacked by them performing miracles at Luton. It seems to me he has had to contend with the Liverpool mafia, new owner trying to pick the team, and abuse from fans. Like Daniel we need to give the guy a chance, he s a northerner not flash no stone island, no I've played for Man city and courting attention. His coach gets into a brawl at the sponsors awards night, ffs, let's give him the reduced budget window to assemble a squad and give him until December, I'm not going to dig up posts but you were Ben Garners main sponsor on here for months....... im usually at odds with Pirate but im 100% behind him this time.
I didnt actually think there was much wrong with JB football/squad wise. We were on the right path, with the style of football, gates improving and getting some exciting players, it wasnt a perfect team but it was getting much better. It was just his off field problems that were the issue.
JB got his mates in (scouse mafia et al)and was slated MT is doing exactly the same, lets see how that works out this time because personally i've not got a good feeling.
Im just so disappointed in that football is massively about contacts and we appear to get managers and staff that have zero. It feels like Sunday league having a ring round before the match to see if anyone knows anyone. We'll have a team of Exeter players who are no better than what we have now. We need to gamble more take more risks and get some excitement in the club.

Paul Cook for me although it didnt work out for him at Pompey.
I'd also give another ex-player a chance - like Kevin Phillips, whos bound to have some contacts that we could utilise.
failing that nothing wrong with an old warhorse - Warnock is probably too old now but of course i'd have Olly back in a heartbeat

Spot on Topper - Easy for people to say This Manager or that but the vast majority will not touch this circus - I am sure our reputation for nonsense is out there and openly laughed about. In other news - When the retained list is finally published - fully anticipating the meltdown of all meltdowns on here !!

Remember we are what makes Rovers - Rovers not the manager, not the owners, and not the players.

I can`t face any more of the dross that the team served up since the end of January.

It`s got to be something along those lines, Richie. Common sense or a desire to be happy, clearly doesn`t come into it.

You made me think we were all wrong. But I just went back and double checked. When he was appointed, you were saying great appointment, the board have done the right thing etc. Topper and others were in disagreement and you were saying that were wrong and upset as their choice was appointed. The post you just shared was months after he had been in charge. So if you changed your mind before, why were you arguing with those who were against the appointment??

Ritchie whilst I respect your opinion from Jan last year to the end of the season our home results were atrocious, joe signed some decent players but also a few awful ones, the tippy tappy football with 70 % possession was impressive on paper but the results were dire. Wael gave joe free reign, which the Fleetwood owner did historically, in both cases he spent a lot and for little achievement, joe failed to stop the relegation and got lucky with the Geordie Maradonna, expected him to get more toon youngsters in as a result of that success. Matt is being controlled by the owners, joe would not have stood for their meddling.

They finished above in the league with some impressive performances and we have struggled against them in recent encounters. For a fan owned club their finances are in better shape than ours and they have made significant improvements to their ground. They even built a successful ladies team. I would see Exeter as an example would should follow. Wouldn't it be fun if we the fans owned Rovers?
