Wasn’t aware Lawrence but knew that Martin, Hoole, Sinclair and Rossiter had been offered deals.
Hoole and Sinclair likely to sign. Rossiter touch and go.

3 offered deals, not 4 as claimed.
Agree with that list personally

Cant argue but shame about Greenslade So the Hoole rumours wrong. Gaschat, never change. Although he could turn down, but I hope not. Wonder what we have offered Rossiter.

I'd have liked to have seen more of Harvey Greenslade & Ryan Jones but I guess they see them a lot and dont seem to have progressed enough.

Underwhelmed as always after a long wait .....
1. We desperately need to move on some of those still stealing a wage under contract - Connolly, McCormick, Wilson and possibly Brown. 2. Hoping Hoole signs another deal 3. If Rossiter leaves after we have rehab'd him for 16 months its a poor showing. No loyalty in football though. 4. Will Grant Ward and Jack Hunt play 30 games between them? 5. Need to try and extend Evans if possible. 6. Good standard Incomings now vital as what is left will take us down next season.

Sinclair is an odd one , couldn’t buy a game for months and months but got a late run of games. Guessing he was on a good wage and we’ve offered him reduced terms. Otherwise his wages would be better invested elsewhere imo .

The worry for me is that out of the group of 15 players contracted for next season (ignoring Hoole, Rossiter and Sinclair for the moment)
3 are injury prone and based on this season can not be relied upon (Wilson, Hunt, Grant Ward) 3 are youngsters or players that won't realistically play any real part (Hall, Lawrence, Shaw) 3 are not good enough to progress (based on this season) (Connolly, McCormick, Brown)
Leaves just six players who I personally feel should do a job for us (Jed Ward (as back-up), Taylor, Evans, Conteh, Thomas, Martin).
Enormous job to do.

I wouldn’t pay much attention to the in contract section. Just being there doesn’t mean that they’ll be here end of the summer.

Do loan players always go back to their parent clubs first rather than it simply being announced they'll stay for another year? I was hoping we would keep a couple
