More info here and seems to suggest we won’t be seeing games moved to silly days or times. Either 12.30 or 5.30 Saturday or more like our 20 will be midweek games and carabao and efl trophy games.
If we get Birmingham at the mem first game tho expect it to be Friday 9th August.
(Let’s see how long this thread takes for chewy to turn it into a whine about everything BRFC)

According to the Sun article every mid week game and Bank Holiday are going to be shown live, which I haven't seen suggested elsewhere, in addition no extra Sky subscription charge! www.thesun.co.uk/sport/27795559/sky-sports-new-streaming-platform?utm_source=sharebar_app&utm_medium=sharebar_app&utm_campaign=sharebar_app_articleIt'll be interesting to see if it hits attendances, particularly if we don't get off to a good start next season.

Very valid point about attendances, im sure it will also depend on who we sign to encourage people to come and watch & what price point we are saleing match day tickets at.

Makes me even more glad I didn’t get a Season ticket for me and the boys, but even planning away days will be difficult, fixture list will come out and there’s a high chance it will change. 12:30 kick offs are vile, always have been and always will be.

Its unlikely we will be shown more than 20 times so realistically, the majority of those games will be the midweek ones, bank holiday, opening weekend etc. Therefore, we are unlikely to be affected too much with kick off times changing. Probably once or twice at most. Will be a nightmare for fans of championship teams though with kick offs times (and days) constantly being changed.
Not much has been said on the continuation of iFollow for overseas fans. All of our subscriptions were automatically ended. On the website, they show monthly pass subscriptions for £25 per month. Not sure if that was for the season just ended or next season? Hopefully not for next season as going from paying £140 for a whole season to £25 per month would be some jump in price!

Watching Rovers on TV used to be a novelty, even if it was a 2 minute snippet on the Big Match.
With so much saturation of football on telly it has got quite stale for me.
I much prefer the highlights of MotD and the FL rather than watching the whole games from the settee.
For Rovers, there is nothing quite like being there, even in the cold and wet with a soggy pasty and the moaners in the crowd.

If Italian Sky Sports are showing Rotherham v Rovers it’s likely that you won’t be able to purchase that game in Italy on ifollow. If it’s not you can. Here is a useful breakdown as to the potential make up of the 1,000+games (not my information so can not take credit): Over 1,000 (1,059) of the EFL’s 1891 games across the Sky Bet EFL, EFL Cup and Bristol Street Motors Trophy will be broadcast: 328 Sky Bet Championship matches 248 Sky Bet League One matches 248 Sky Bet League Two matches All 15 Play-Off matches All 93 Carabao Cup matches All 127 Bristol Street Motors Trophy matches Edit as I pasted the wrong info

I agree, though watching Rovers on TV whilst seeing the moans on Gaschat is a close run thing

I just hope that iFollow is not only getting our games that are not chosen by Sky.

This lends itself quite nicely to the FA Cup replay lark.
Clubs only seem to be bothered by things that impact them financially rather than effect their fans or are for the greater sporting good. Football League clubs have rolled over and had their collective bellies tickled time, after time looking for extra cash (EFL Trophy B Teams, New Sky Deal both come to mind) but as soon as they are impacted negatively financially it's open letter time. The sooner we see collective organisation by fans across the board, the sooner we get change. Unfortunately petty rivalries will get in the way and we'll end up with it becoming harder and harder to get to matches, especially away.

I live in Canada and I contacted iFollow upon the announcement last month of Sky buying up the rights, I asked if they will be showing the rovers games or not next season. I said if they're not, please cancel my subscription. The response I got was "We don't know, still new to us, standby". A week later I got a notification stating my subscription had been cancelled so I assumed that meant iFollow would no longer be showing any of the games.

"For each League One and League Two team, at least 16 of the minimum 20 matches broadcast will not be moved." Surprised at that stat as that suggest just a couple of Saturday home games will be moved each season.
