Currently no goals in the this team, no creativity in midfield; apart from Chris Martin, we have two work "in-progress" players up top; need a target man with a proven goal scoring capability, who can join up and bring players into the plays asap.

Pretty sure may is before July 👀😂 Fair play, good shout! I think at one point there was a chance of him being loaned to this level, but he did so well in pre-season that he changed some minds. As I follow spurs aswell their is talk that he’ll be around as a 3rd striker to cover Europe and cups but I think that was when there was rumours of richarlison leaving, also rumours that Middlesbrough want to loan him

When was the last time we signed a 'proven goalscorer'

Patience.....it will all be fine. Christ we are only 2 games in.
And conceded no goals in league football, that's a good base to workaround

When was the last time we signed a 'proven goalscorer' Christ Martin? Can he get onto the end of a cross? 😃

Agree with a proven goal scorer but I wouldn’t go for another target man type. We’ve got that with Omochere and Martin . Think we’ll go for a more nimble type striker who will add something different up front.

Agree with you. At the the moment it does seem we are light in front of goal. It only takes a spark and the guys could start firing. Hopefully well begin creating more chances. If we were to bring in another striker though, i couldn't name one that is proven, would probably have to look at last seasons records.

If Jevani Brown wasn't so lazy and uninterested we could have our 4th and final toward option 😢

If Jevani Brown wasn't so lazy and uninterested we could have our 4th and final toward option 😢 Im still puzzled how MT cant get a tune out of him despite him being his best player at Exeter. I have some Exeter supporting friends who have him as their favourite ever player...why so anonymous for us?

Or he might not have settled at the club. Or his form at Exeter was the outlier in his career & he’s simply regressed to his normal level now.

A shame as the player he was at Exeter would have got into most sides. Must be something about Exeter, they now see Ryan Woods as integral part of their team.
