Always a shame to see an academy product leave the club. His development seemed to stagnate last season after such a promising start with us.

Just seen this post on the Shrewsbury forum;
"I read yesterday that he had done a Dan Udoh and then some ! He had literally disappeared,wasn't responding to calls and messages and the club had no idea where he was and presumed that he wasn't signing a new deal.
He was 'found' by a fan training on the beach at Newport with his own personal trainer"

Gutted to see Luca leave, was always impressed with his attitude and his demeanour on and off the pitch, I had him down as a possible future captain of the famous quarters. Didn’t really get enough opportunities last season and I think there’s much more to come from the young man.
