Seems to have been on the cards since the new owners came in and the role of the owner's son. From my limited contact with Tom I found him helpful and he seemed a hard working guy. Some thinks like the planning permission for the stand clearly went wrong but how much that was his fault I do not know. Overall I think he made a positive contribution and I wish him well.

At times it’s seemed he has had to drag this club into the 21st century single handedly. But the job he has done has been incredible, on/off the pitch, particularly online.
All the best Tom 👍🏻

Wonder if we are still recruiting a COO?
Probably not.
Sounds like Abdullatif is effectively CEO with Ritchie Bates reporting to him on all commercial activities.

People are extremely quick to forget how this club was before TG. He dragged us out of the dark ages. Sure, plenty didn’t go to plan, but we are in a much better place than before he arrived.
He gave his all for the club and for that, I thank him. All the best Tom.

All the best to Tom, always found him to be very courteous when answering my questions. Not leaving until end of August, when some on here claimed he went months ago. Been here quite sometime and would not be surprised if he is moving on to pastures new, so sad some still speculate it’s for other reasons and then when challenged to tell us more, crawl back into the hole they came out of.

Come on then David spill the beans….. Notjhinh to spill. The bloke was utterly dreadful at his job and cost the club a lot of money. Slowly the adult baby takeover is being taken apart.

TG also made some shocking b@lls ups along the way, this is probably the first season for a few years we've all got our season tickets over a week before the season starts. Plus the number of senior employees he's seemingly upset/forced out is probably well into double figures. At the end of the day if the owners thought he was doing a good job then I doubt he'd be leaving the club.
